    Hi. I attached the medic_healing loop sound to an effect that is a mofify unit effect. The effect is attached to an effect-target ability that is supposed to heal your unit. Now i first tried to attach the sound to the healing (action) actor in Launch Assests - Sound and it didn't worked. The sound kept playing no matter what. Non stop. Then i created a different actor just for the sound. A sound actor. There i set the events to be

    Effect.RepairStationRepairEffect.Start At Caster Create

    Effect.RepairStationRepairEffect.Stop At Caster Destroy

    but then when i did this, the sound didn't even started. So i removed the effect stop destroy event and it worked again but just like the first time it didn't stop playing. It keep going and going even when the unit was fully healed. What should i do. What do u recommend me to do?

    posted a message on Immortal Shield Part III. [SOLVED]

    So ok fine. I thanks to Dr.Super Evil and a few others got to finally use the immortal shield on the unit I'm using. Now, i haven't been abled to get the shield to behave in the same manner and time of the unit in question. The shield moves one way the unit the other. I still don't know what to do. I checked the cut seen editor for attachment points, but theres nothing much to see there.

    I created an ability for a unit to launch interceptors whenever the user presses the ability button, fine. The thing is the interceptors won't move once they come out. They remain still without moving. Why? What haven't i checked or set or looked?

    posted a message on One Word. Actors.... Damn.

    Actors have been bugging me a lot. Everytime i want to create an attack event i have to do it 2 times in order for it to finally work i dont get it. Anyway does someone really knows how on earth and heaven can i make for units like diamondback, dragoon and lasertank to launch an ability in the same visual manner that they do when launching the weapon. Is the same attack only is now an ability and not a weapon. Ive tried everything for example that the diamondback uses his rail gun in the ability in the same way he does when he uses it as weapon. Same with dragoon and laser tank. Dragoon for example opens up his missile compartment and then launches the photon missile. This action doesnt happen when i use the weapons as abilities. The attack simply comes out of his middile body and not in the same manner as it does when is launch as a weapon. Ive tried everything god knows. Ive tried units,turrets, movers, effects, actors, models, mixing them up, switching them up, and still havent found those little effects that the unit does when launching the attack. I think there is simply no way of using them but it cant be. Anyway your help would be really appreactiated.

    Would somebody plz tell me why is my unit expressing two times the impact effect model and sound. Ive checked the events and there shoulld be no problem compared to similar attacks.

    I have

    Effects.SpecialAttack01Damage.Start AT Caster Create

    Effects.SpecialAttack01Launch.Star At Caster Create

    I have no problem with the dame effect beign expressed at the target in time, but when i add the launch effect it immediately expresses the damage effects attached to the launch effect and then comes the damage effect. I dont get it. Also im having the same similar issue with another unit only that other unit impact effects occurs before the damage is done. Please help. What am i doing wrong.

    Ok. Found the solution. You just have to press the option SHOW TERRAIN CELLS over the black squares. Damn, how did i missed this. This option is found under the terrain options. Is the one with the plus sign. I hope i help others with this. Good luck.

    My map is showing black squares and i dont know why? 2 black squares in different areas of the map on the terrain. I dont know whats causing it. I tried to delete them just in case theres an invisible object but theres nothing. Is frustrating me. Help.

    Hello again, i would like some advice on how to construct a teleportation ability that would send the users hero back to a specific location whenever he presses the ability button. This teleportation ability would take some time (say about 5 seconds) and would not let you move unless you stop the process of teleportation by moving. How is this doable? Right now im experimenting with the carrier hyperjump ability which mimics almost what im looking for except that i dont know how to select the specific location of where is the hero unit supposed to be teleported and whenver i use this theres another equal unit created wherever you pointed to be teleported while the other one is in the process of beign teleported. Weird huh?

    posted a message on How to limit the storage container from taking the items first?

    I have an inventory with 3 containers. 1-Weapons 2-Armor 3-Storage. What exactly should i do and can i do so that the storage container which is the first one from bot to top (and for sure the reason why its taking the items first) doesnt take the items that are supposed to go first to the weapons and armor containers without obviously disabling its function of storage container nor altering the inventory order. I just like how the top container is weapons, mid is armor and bot is storage. Thanks

    PD. I have latest version of the editor.
