Anyone know how to change model center point? I created unit and attached Actor to it and I want model with this actor to be placed not exactly in center of the unit but like 2 cm from it. Still I want unit center to be in right place, only model to have center point different.
Is it possible without changing model in some 3d studio or something?
I was wander if this will work to make unit that have 2 units moving together visual only like in Warcraft 2 goblins sappers. I must try it when I get home :P Any suggestions on how to do it ? Maybe 2 actors showing 2 models to 1 unit? I'n not sure if its possible to show them not in center of the unit. And what about attack animation. 2 different?
I have the same problem. There seems to be something crazzy dividing campaign and melee. If I add all dependencies I cant see the units from campaign when I modify melee units.
Other thing is when I got melee unit and then add dependencies from campaign my unit is renamed to Name (Unnamed) and everything crashes...
I read every tutorial and I have problem duplicating unit or creating from 0. When I duplicate or create unit I have (Unnamed) in name even when I give it a name. And I cant see the unit on the list of units. Even without an Actor it should be visible there imo.
Anyone know if there is something new I should know about it after release?
ok retail is up and I cant close the gate ;) I open it by giving issue order (open gate) but there is no close gate order (by some crazy unknown reason) :P
1. Remove popularity sorting.
2. Add Sort by number of players waiting in each map.
3. Give way to add maps to favorite so favorite maps can be seen in 2nd separated maps list or on the top of normal map list (if you think this will be better).
Simple and I think this will work. If player want to play for example "Unknown map" he find the map (probably few pages down) and then he enter a chat room inside this map. The map will be then above the not played maps. Each new player join the map will increase a map place on the list.
The problem with current custom maps is not that they are far far in 1000 of other maps. The problem is that if I find a map and join it, there is 0% chance that someone in the short time (eg. 5 mins) join it also. So I'm alone who want to play in the moment.
If you sort maps by number of players inside waiting at the moment, players will be able to see maps, people want to play or they can choose their own from those not picked at the moment.
How to store newly created text tags? Like when I dynamically create units and add it to unit group for further use. Is it possible to do that with text tags? It seems there is only a variable and array of text tag with means I can't dynamically add new objects. Is the only solution an finite number of tags stored in array?
I opened Hyperion maps and there was no models visible. Only black map with some units and no background models like ship, monitors etc. Anyone know why?
