So i've been experimenting with dialog images and whenever i create one, it comes out very distorted. At first i thought i was just doing something wrong, but now i'm copying triggers directly from maps that have working images and they still come out distorted. Help?
hmmm thats a good idea. i might just end up making AI waves instead but that would be cool. i could see that working. Possibly like a main objective your supposed to defend, various shops, hero levels and such, and than waves of zerg from different directions and different heroes you can choose to fight them off with.

I know the starcraft 2 developers said you could use "libraries" so that multiple people can work on the same map or something like that. I need to import the terrain from one map, in to a second map. By terrain i don't mean textures just to clarify. If no one knows how to do this yet, does anyone know how to add the data+triggers from one map to another map without losing all of it? Thanks.

Now in theory you could say if experience level is 5 or 10 or 15 or 20 or 25, then add ranger stats 2 and have a different set, but this gets confusing when you have different decimals that don't line up, and no one wants 10 sets of rangers stats for the possible combinations of 2.8 strength, 1.7 agility, 2.3 stamina, and 2.1 intellect. you would need to need 24 different sets of stats for those gains i believe. And than why not just do veterency levels 25 times and save space over all.
Could you do a tutorial on parabolic stats? Such as armor where when you have 1 armor it gives 5% reduction, 2 armor gives 7.5% reduction, 3 armor gives 8.75% reduction, etc? It seems as if the current armor system reduces damage by the number of armor points you have? -.-
so should i just recreate my map or will this be fixed in the future? If it won't ever be fixed i'd rather just recreate my map for all the stuff i would be gaining. KorvinGump's method is a bit unorthodox and doesnt even work in some regions. If anyone knows when or if this will be fixed let me know
To get the campaign units, the only way i've found is to add the dependencies. However, when i do this all my custom data becomes "Unnamed" and a lot of my data is cleared out. For instance, all my requirements have no actual requirement, and i can't make new requirements. If someone finds away around this, i'd like to be able to use the new units :X
Whenever i try to open my galaxy editor from my starcraft folder, nothing happens. No error message, just will not do anything. It was working fine, then crashed and now this happens. I tried reinstalling and it worked for about 5 minutes and then happened again. Please help, I don't want to reinstall again because last time i did that, i lost all my maps i had been working on since the editor first came out :'(
e: repair also refuses to run. and i reinstalled the editor of a zip archive and now it is saying it can't run because icuuc42.dll is missing from your computer, despite the fact i can see that exact file in my support folder -.-
I agree with the few others who have asked for a tavern that lets you pick a hero. Also if anyone can write a tutorial on getting dodge chance or critical hits
ALSO~ I would like to request a ground breaking tutorial of how to make items with smaller items.

Already done by someone else. Same thing but works better and the movement speeds are equal all directions :P

the only problem with this is if you have different stat gains for instance, a 2.8 str gain means that your levels look like this:
Level 1: 3 strength Level 2: 3 Strength Level 3: 3 Strength Level 4: 3 Strength Level 5: 2 Strength repeat.
