What's wrong with TDs? People like different maps and I always liked TDs. I've played hundreds of different TDs, and there's a reason why I only mention a few of them - they're better and\or different than the rest.
Also, maybe you haven't noticed, but there are already lots of WC3 map-remakes out there. That's because some developers actually like spending time on remaking a good map. I would do it myself if I weren't still practicing on the editor.
The map you linked does look like what I'm looking for. I'll look for it on Bnet (btw, that one isn't a TD;p)
I'm a bit surprised that I haven't found any topic on this, so I may have overlooked it, but here goes:
WC3 maps I wish for SC2:
- Gridlock (TD)
- Minotaurs Labyrinth (TD)
- S.O.S TD
- Worm Wars
- Zoator Survivor TD
- Extreme TD (not Extreme Missiles Defence)
- Orc Burrow Defence (TD)
I'm busy with my learning project myself(I need more experience), and none of these maps are to be found on mapster or curse atm.
