posted a message on Can't edit Game Variant category?

Unfortunately, no. The most recent was two years ago. I know things have changed a lot since then, but I just found it strange that I couldn't find anyone else who had this problem, so I thought maybe it was solvable. Oh well, maybe I can work around this. Thanks for your time.

Thanks for replying, but the area is still grayed out for me.

What I want is to be able to edit the Name and Description in the Category, should've clarified in the OP... gonna fix that right now.

posted a message on Can't edit Game Variant category?

    Heads up, Editor noob!

So, I've been trying to make a Cortex Roleplay map... yeah, Cortex still has a heartbeat.

One part of this includes editing a game variant, and for some reason the Editor just doesn't want me getting my hands on the Category section. It's just grayed out and no matter what I do, I can't edit it. I want to edit the Name and Description in this section. I've looked and found nothing on forums, and every Editor video was able to edit the Category section as soon as the variant was added.

My question is, how do I do this? Is there some other option that needs to be enabled or something? Thanks for any help!

posted a message on Attaching a looping sound to a unit?

    Heya forum people,

So first up, I want to add a looping sound to the Terran Command Center. Like, every Command Center that's ever created inside my map. I've already made a custom data entry for my looping sound, there's nothing to be done with that. The question is, how do I get the sound to be attached to the unit? As in, whenever the unit is created the sound starts playing, and when the unit is destroyed, the sound stops playing? And how do I make the sound heard only by players near the Command Center? And another thing, how can I make the sound continue playing even as the Command Center is being upgraded into a Orbital Command?

I was never really good at explaining things. English is my first language, but I tend to mess up while explaining things. If any clarification is needed, I'll be happy to clear things up.
