    Or a better way is to go to Create Custom Game, then sort by Popular, Custom and, search for Star Lightbikes then scroll down to the 8 player maps and you should see it.

    I hate to make you wait but I have been making lots of little updates and I don’t want to have to make someone have to upload new version to EU everyday or every other day but it will happen I just can’t say exactly when yet.

    Sorry for the slow response been busy with family for the last few days. but thats all taken care of now so I’m getting back to work on the map tomorrow.

    Map Updates

    Lightwall lifetime increased from 30 seconds to 40 seconds

    All cameras have a larger field of view.

    AI improvements (old ai picked each unit 1 at a time and turned them, new ai each unit has it own little brain there still pretty dumb but their getting better.)

    I’m working out a way to teach the ai to jump, but for some reason the event unit enters range of unit does not want to work for me.

    @Keyeszx: I am remakeing the AI I have much better Idea I just have to build it. Only reason I haven’t done it yet is I been spending all my time trying to make the arenacam work how I want it to. I think I will put the camera stuff on hold for now because it does work its just not perfect yet. So expect and improved AI in a day or two and if it works like I hope it will, it should free up some recourses which should let me increase the FOV a little bit.

    Wow thanks to everyone willing to make me a video. I really do appreciate it. It doesn’t have to be perfect just better than the current one as I can’t get any good shots of the fps cameras because my framerate drops to 1-5 frames per second when I try.

    I am still curious about what my game looks like above medium settings and a little worried that depth of field or some other filter is messed up and I can’t see it.

    @Keyeszx have you tried playing against the AI controlled lightbikes? Just add some in the game lobby and you’ll never have to play alone.

    I tried that. Currently you can tap r to switch between 4 tps camera angles and while in any of the tps cameras you can press 1 or 2 to switch to a birdeye view. I you are in birdseye camera 1 you can’t switch it to number 2 and vice versa and you can switch back to tps until you are dead. I have tried just about every combinaton of following, stop following, rotateing, panning, and looking I can think of.

    That just gave me an idea I am gunna go test makeing the camera look at something else then panning rotateing and following the lightbike again.

    So I kinda made a booboo last night and published a broken version on my map I am really sorry. I guess I kinda got excited with all the comments and even got to play with some real people.

    Updates

    TPS camera fixed for real this time.
    spaming spacebar will no longer make you invulnerable.
    arenacams are now key 1 and 2 (still can’t figure out why if wont let me switch from overhead to third person while your lighbiket is alive).

    TPS camera now follows unit near perfectly.

    far clip fixes for arenacam.

    Depth of field hopefully fixed for those that can play on ultra I can’t test this one need feedback please.

    still working on getting arenacam to reset to TPS cam for now it will only reset if you press R when you die then press R when your respawn to zoom it back in.

    @omarishh: sounds good I’ll probably be sending it your way soon as long as no game breaking bugs show up in the next few days.

    @SoulCarveRR: Yeah I did a stress test in the editor where all 8 player constantly made walls. Currently you make 1 lightwall section every .1 of a second so the most one player can make is 300 wall sections times 8 players thats 2400 wall sections maximum. Which works out pretty well. I like the beam idea but unless the data wizards wanna help figure that one out my current system gets the job done and looks pretty good while doing it IMHO. 30 seconds isn’t necessarily carved in stone either but it seems plenty long from my testing if I can play a few matches with real people and get some feedback on actual gameplay I can finalize things like lightwall life time, number of lives, max speed, min speed, how long till sudden death starts, how long the pickup buffs last, and a few others I can’t think of right now.

    I’m Going to go make a lobby right now hopefully getting that front page video will help me find some players.

    One of my favorite parts about chrono trigger battles was the way the units moved around on the battlefield through the fight. You couldn’t control which way they where gunna go but it made the fights look so cool. I always wanted to be able to knock the mobs into stuff in the background.

    Great job so far but do you think you can get them to do more melee and bounce of each other a little bit?
