As the title says, I'm curious what type of FPS map people would like to see most. I know the delay is still bad on b.net, but they can still be fun to play.
Heres the engine I have made so far:
Some things I've thought about:
Deathmatch
Snipers FPS
Team Survival Game
Any other suggestions?
A test map on the US is published under "FPS Deathmatch/Survival: Temple"
No goal atm, just for testing/debugging.
I think it is banks, I drop every time I try to play something like zerg hunter rpg or eternal shadows rpg, which I know both maps use banks much more extensively than other maps (since they are rpgs).
No idea why it would be causing it, but thats just what I'm thinking.
He is talking about the action that sets the flash animation to play on a dialog item, and no, it does not work for maps that are not blizzard-signed. The only alternative way to show animations in the UI is the portrait system, as shown in the starjeweled map.
I could never get it to work right, it switched the model fine but it reset the actor messages on it screwing the whole portrait up, and just sending them again also didn't work for me, as the actor messages just didn't do anything. No idea why it did this, but thats why I just recreate it.
You put a "Pick each Int/Unit/Player" inside of another "Pick each Int/Unit/Player", use For Each actions instead to avoid this. If you do that, you would reference the variable you choose instead of something like Picked Integer.

http://unity3d.com/ is also pretty good, got me interested after kongregate added support for unity games.

Someone made this a while ago, but it works pretty well, except when your unit moves, it resets the pitch sadly.

Just put in deathmatch, it is 10 players though, still want to monitor the lag (I'm sure I'm gonna have to reduce it though)

I also ran into this issue (and so have others) I'm pretty sure theres no way around it, other then using a smaller resolution.

pretty sure xfire comes with a free high-res high-fps recorder that you can use.

I know how that feels, was on it for a year and a half. Thankfully I moved...
