    I don't think there is. 1 real second is 1.38 Blizzard seconds though. You can use this to make tooltips a little less weird. For example, a 2 second stun would have a duration of 2.76 in the editor.

    Add a validator to the first effect of your item or ability that checks whether the unit in question fits your desires. It could be "Is Heroic" or a behavior check for whatever your veterancy behavior is.

    posted a message on Map Vanished

    Well, this is scary. One of my maps just vanished into thin air.

    Nexus Fortress, published on EU only (other servers are fine).

    When I try to upload the map again, everything appears fine. When I check "Managed Published", the map is not present. It is also not present on the "My Published" page.

    I got reports that it vanished around 3pm GMT (7am PST).

    Some random facts:

    • The map was active and being played.
    • The map hadn't been updated by me since the contest started (even though it was on EU). No reason for it to vanish.
    • The map still says it is "public" when I try to publish it.
    • I can still publish the map. The correct update number appears.
    • When I try to publish the map, my "published files" count remains at 21 instead of moving up from 21 to 22. Only 20 maps show on my "Manage Published" list.
    • No other map of mine has been affected.
    • Uploading the map eventually returns the error "Document aliases could not be accessed: CLIENTSIDECACHE_READ_CONNECTION_FAILED"
    • Upload is successful and the map returns to my ownership, along with properly appearing on the Manage Published list in the editor, and the "My Published" list in the arcade.

    First time I've seen this happen. There's absolutely no reason why the map should've just vanished. I didn't touch it. It doesn't violate any rules so I don't think it was banned.

    If I had to guess, I'd say that there's an issue with the new increased publish count (the max file count was increased from 20 to 80), as I've never seen this before and it's odd how it took me down to 20 published files.

    Be careful going past the upload limit on US while this contest is in effect!

    True. Last year people had a problem with maps that were very old being submitted, though. I guess declaring a fantasy theme is Blizzard's way of circumventing that.

    I hope there is another contest, and I really hope we can just go crazy with the concepts. It's been a long time since I released Warships and I'm itching to justify spending a whole lot of time on the whole space battle theme that I grew up gaming with.

    I've been making arcade maps for 3 years now. It really started with Warships and almost all my maps have received support. I've made the top played map in StarCraft 2, along with about 25% of the top 20 maps on any given day, and I've asked for very little in return beyond feedback and politeness (which, to my fortune, I've never even had to ask for politeness, it's just been given to me).

    If you value what I've done with the arcade over the years, for better or worse as I know sometimes my desires haven't meshed well with what people were expecting at times, then I'd ask that you vote for my entry in the Rock the Cabinet contest, Nexus Fortress.

    You're right, the missing texture isn't listed. I have no idea then. It might not even work even if you find the missing texture by accident. I'd strongly recommend finding a different plant because there are very few tools that will handle the new model type used by HotS and LotV.

    That's a missing texture. Probably a glow or splat. Open up the model and check it's materials to see if you missed any.

    Missile Turret has 2 abilities of the Queue type. Bunker " " " Attack type, probably "attack" and "bunker - attack" something or other. Same with stop. Archon or any morph of the archon has multiple instances of a warp ability.

    Disable your cinematic triggers for testing purposes. Use if/then/else functions with "game is test" to find when the game is running in test mode, and if that is the case, just don't play your cinematic. I really doubt you want to view it each time you test anyway. Otherwise, there's no way of removing those errors.
