I would really like to think that blizzard would have at some type of sub division that put time in to sort through problems in arcade, but I guess that's what makes admins that are assigned to a specific map unique.
The blocked persons experience of the game is exactly the same experience as everyone elses. If you have a policy of blocking players who deliberately cause grief and have shown no interest in participating in the community and apply that policy across the board then you have not discriminated against anybody
He does indeed fall under this category of causing intentional grief, but at the same time shows interest in the community and it's politics (Administrational and events mostly), but he does not support it which leads to somewhat of a fallacy.
If someone continuously harasses people then publish a second version of the map under a modified name.
We are not that desperate to make a separate map just yet now, maybe if the game were to be maniacally out control would we resort to publishing a second map, but that is actually a good idea for map developers having an intense situation, but here is not the case.
Just block him and be done with it
Is blocking different from banning? (I am unfamiliar with what you mean)
I don't believe in banning as a solution to these trolls. But when you want them to listen to you and take you seriously, it works...
I saw it work only for a few months, honestly he does the same things. I do believe you need to talk about ReeferFist's behavior with the other admins, for they are more active. Even some surveying from other players could be helpful.
I do not know if you reviewed the latest incident, but it was the reason I insisted on pursuing to get rid of ReeferFist.
He demonstrated that he can manipulate players into causing panic and uproar.
But why specifically ReeferFist and not others that cause offenses?
Because it is followed up by consistent harassment. This is a threat because it drives newcomers away and even regulars in some cases.
Realistically speaking there is a strong possibility that we can use our votekick system (Less votes for him), this way when admins are not online and watching, the other players can decide wether they are getting along. Maybe a ratio 3/5 seems fare. Though thats not up me to decide so I will just forward this page to the DEVs of The Thing [Revival]
I recall several events were admins just doing their jobs and upholding peace tips him off, abuse or not, he is a loose cannon.
Overall I would say if we were actually ban him from the arcade game, he may tire out and hopfully move on, but like I said, he may just hold lobbies as a routine for his trolling, the question is, will having him hold lobbies and be automatically kicked be better than having him run amuck ingame.
Quite a predicament considering the game is going through its grossing process, saves me time not making a report to blizzard.
If he were to be perma banned he may tire out eventually, however he has made it clear that he preys on consisent harassment, since he is a regular, who's to say that lobby holding the game might not just be incorporated in to his daily routine such as trolling arcade.
He does not care if he is kicked at the start of every single game, I the fact that he lobby holds when he is auto kicked. He has already undergone this process which have tthe same result every time.
He is auto kick (Banned)
He causes drama (On our forums, insulting private messages and harassment)
He holds the lobby for hours on end
There must be a way to remove him from joining the lobby, having him get kicked when the game starts is not the issue, its the fact that he deliberately holds the lobby hours on end when he is banned
On the side note as a result of this the game project manager leaves him unbanned to cause less problems, inevitably everyone is affected negatively from this player.
This was not made clear, he has already been auto kicked before and having admins limit his play is beyond the question because during that period of time he made it clear that he will make the lobbies suffer once he has been marked to be auto kicked. Do everyone remember when lobbies would not auto remove inactive players? Well before that update he would hold lobbies for 12-48 hours.
So I am going back to my question, is there absolutely no way I can have this player removed from joining this specific arcade game lobby
I want to know if specific players can be banned from joining lobbies, I ask this because one in particular throws a hissy fit when banned from one of the arcade games I admin.
This player
Harasses newcomers
Holds lobbies
Attacks teamates "for the luls"
Causes numerous problems with the other admins
Gives the game a bad reputation
This player has a blatant disregard for other players and is ignorant to authority.
I must know if there is a way to disable him from joining this specific arcade game by means of pleading to higher power like the SC2 admins or devs

Would any of you like to briefly explain the TOS reference?

Didn't I mention that in our forums?
I do not recall if you did

I have proof, those are not the pics that showed him using violence, I have replays for that

Your pictures do not prove anything**
I actually was writing an explanation and a conclusion, but I did not see the point in it
An outsider might even suggest that the abuse of admin powers is what caused this player to lash out in the first place.
The only thing he cares about is causing rage and can only be appeased from it, having admins interfere is something he looks forward to
