Hello peeps.
Im making a new game and it requires like a talent tree that when you play games you level up and over a course of games you can upgrades more powerful traits in order (Just like the co op) and they also need to automatically upgrade/research at the start of a game
I have no experience AT ALL when it comes to this, so a detailed guide would be apreciated or even pointing me in the right direction would be awesome.
Hey all iv been adding new models for my ability and i just wanted to tint the colors, but when i did the models for the ability are still the same color. Im not sure why its not changing.
Im using the sacrifice cast and sacrifice impact models. Im not sure if the other events are interfering with it? Because when i have done this before the color tint has worked fine. If you dont know whats happening, is there another way i cant tint the color of the models?
Hi i apologise before i ask my question if this has been answered before, i have looked for about 30 minutes and nothing has come up specific to my problem.
My problem is, im using a unit as like the 'Building to kill' in my arcade game, but it has no death model/animation, im wondering how do i add JUST the death model/actor to the unit? Because at the moment, when it dies it just dissapears, which is very unsatisfying lol. I have very little experience in the actor department and if i tried to fiddle around with things it could go horribly wrong.

Hello iv created a map and there are a large amount of different heroes, and each hero has different units they can build and i do this through upgrades, and they can only create the unit when the upgrade is researched through triggers, but for upgrades for these units im doing this

Count Upgrade Roach queued or better
Count Upgrade Roach Corpser queued or better
Constant 1
Show
Equals
Count upgrade Gaping Maw Queued or better

So what should be happening to my knowledge is that the upgrades for the units the hero cant use should be greyed out and cant be researched, but that isnt happening. Iv only just started useing the Requirement section and im sure im missing something pretty simple
Thanks guys for ur support! i thought it would be a good idea, but i was thinking of adding fenix and karax but who knows, i have put a post in the battle.net arcade forums but only 4 views...
Ill get to work on this as soon as iv finished my major update for wandering hero wars

Hello everyone, iv been a massive fan of co op since it came out, but 5 months has come out since karax and only 2 maps shave been released and nothing even being mentioned about new commanders, so iv been thinking, there are so many ideas for new commanders why dont we make an arcade game?
It would be 6-8 players, and you each choose your commander and you fight eachother, i may add inter game leveling but there will definatly be perks in game.
I was thinking of making these commanders so far:
stukov
abathur
alarak
karax (remade i dont like him as he is now)
Nova
Raynor (remade as well)
I will add more later, and to note the playstyle will not be identical to that of the actual co op, because i am not talented enough in the editor but i will add alot and i will even add changes that i think will need to happen to co op
Thumbs up or post your suggestions if u like the idea, it will be regularly updated as i am frequently on
PS. on a completly unrelated topic, blizzard is pissing me off with taking so long to add content or do anything with their most POPULAR GAME MODE EVER!!! Its a real let down
NOTE: If there is any confusion i will make this map, so please dont go and steal the idea thinking i was giving to you, i just want feedback!
Im not sure, but isnt there a requirement for like target filters? in the effects there should be like a target one, and in there would be a requirement like 'not being healed' or somthing like that.
Im not sure but im pretty sure if u take that out it should fix it.

Iv got a map with heroes, and they have an inventory but the problem is, to open the bag i have to press numberpad1 and the icon is only just seeable behind the help chat and social buttons. Additionally when i open the bag the equiptment is too far down in the bottom left and any items that are equipted dont have any hotkeys and i cant assign them.
How can i move these? is it in the UI or is there another way i have to do the bags? Or is it in triggers? i have no idea.
Sorry in advance if this is a UI problem, i have no idea
Iv got a vote system and its to allow the players to choose what levels they start at, but the problem is when i add the levels as a behaviour it create a brand new veterancy behaviour. How can i add experience or level point using a trigger?
ok guys ty, so i just give the items 10k health and hp regen and armor? And yes i realised that when i attacked one of my aoe units they would dissapear so ty guys.

Hello iv run into another problem.
