Some months ago, I lost the ability to edit text without using the text editor. Example: if I was to go into data -> buttons -> any button -> tooltip, the only thing present in that field for me to modify is the text key.
Wondering if this was part of some update to the editor, a bug, or if there is some setting that just needs to be changed.
Took a quick snip and attached it so anyone can see what I'm talking about.
Is this possible? I found the song/soundtrack (it was a while ago I don't remember which it is) for it but I figured deleting that would cause an error when the code is typed, so I abstained. Is there an actual way to delete/disable the usage of the overengineeredcodpiece code though?
Wow, this is funny. See I've got Composure's map and I'm trying to fix this same thing and this comes up. Too bad it wasn't helpful.
What he's got is a loading bar that is a turned human face, but what he wanted was a human face as a base and a turned human face to be the bar loading across the human face. In the past it actually worked (for him, not me, it was always broken once I got it) but I think there was some SC2 patch that broke it quite a long time ago.
So is this still possible to do? If so, I'd need some detailed instructions... I'm more of a player than a dev, but I've caught on quite well.
i changed the learn abilities from behavior to effect instant. now the behaviors aren't lost upon death but the abilities are automatically learned when i have a point to put into it. ex. if i have 1 point, in 2 seconds he will auto learn one level of one of the skills.
I have a hero that is losing certain behaviors if he dies and is revived. This hero has 5 "tech trees" to learn from, 4 of which will apply a behavior and 2 of which are newly created by me (as opposed to being created by the original dev a long time ago). If he learns either of the 2 old abilities, dies, and is then revived, he retains the stat changes from the behavior, but if he learns either of the 2 new abilities, the stats will not be retained upon revival (any abilities gained from these new techtrees ARE retained though).

ok, my problem has changed xD.

i may have fixed it by doing something that makes no sense...

found it, but it didn't change anything. the other behaviors that do work correctly are not flagged enabled while dead also.
the behavior type here is "Buff" with parent "Default Behavior (CBehaviorBuff)" if that changes anything

I am unable to find such a flag in the behavior properties
The behavior is modeled after another behavior that currently does work so their flags should be identical
