do you even realize sc2 is in development for over 10(!) years now. Can you tell about any other game that has at least this level of popularity after 10 years past from the beginning of development? Most companies just dying if they cant manage to finish the product in 2-3 years. And people keep investing time playing competitive or spending a shitload of time in editor without an outcome. Who is ungratefull now
Is it supposed to be in a sub-folder? Move it to the main folder (where the StarcraftII.exe is)
The SC2Editor.exe file is supposed to be in the Support folder, as well as the SC2Switcher.exe file (the real sc2.exe file). All exe files in the main directory are just shortcuts leading to the launcher first.
Some old Screens fom HZD2, yeah I know they are from '11. But hey why not throw them in here? :D Also some credits to Moz who provided me with alot of feedback back then, thanks again man.
Funny how they had this in war3 from the get go. Blizz finally coming to their sense?
No. Just no.
The leveling system in wc3 is something completly different. In wc3 you gain xp for winning ladder games and lose xp for losing games. And thats it. Nothing more to it, no reward no nothing.
Where as now, you only gain xp (kills, units build) and for that you get new pics/decals.
Then again I tend to be wrong when it comes to science.
Yes.
All you need is oxigen. Divers for example breath a mixture of helium and oxigen, because nitrogen becomes toxic at a certain depth (helium also becomes toxic at a certain depth, tho later than nitrogen). But so does 100% oxigen (at about 1.4-1.6 bar).
2) 0% oxigen? Well most people for about 3 minutes. Tho there are plenty of animals like whales that can hold their breath way longer. But if you count cyanobacteria as animals and not as a plant, then that would be it (those are the guys that shifted the atmosphere 2.5 billion years ago) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyanobacteria
As far as I know the Modify unit effect for cooldowns is bugged and does not work at all. However that information is about 6 months old. Might be fixed already.
What either you or the person that made the tutorial have missed is that, you need to apply the lighting via a trigger. The action you're looking for is called "Set lighting" and can be found under Enviroment.
Since you're making melee maps can can simply alter your default meele trigger to look like this:

That is an old and know bug. Whenever you hide the game UI twice, this will appear. Just make sure you don't do that.
Edit: Has nothing to do with HOTS, was in WOL too.

1) Such an enviroment is only possible in a lab. Not on planets. You might have heard about this thing, it's called fire and it loves oxigen. But in a lab, over a longer period, it would be deadly. (German article: http://www.welt.de/wissenschaft/article889026/Reiner-Sauerstoff-schadet-Herz-und-Hirn.html)
