I started one of my first mapping projects called Cops and Robbers Beta two years ago. It now has over a thousand reviews and a very high rating. I stopped working on it to start working on the project Ultimate Boss Battles, which won second place in the Rock the Cabinet contest. I am now going back to Cops and Robbers, starting from scratch. I have much of the game already made, and I'd like to find some team members to join in.
Who I'm looking for
Teamates who are willing to devote time and effort into creating the city, making heroes, and creating an expansive atmosphere. If you feel that you can contribute to the map in a way that was not one of the two positions that I am seeking, please let me know how you can contribute to the map. I will look for people with other skillsets later in the development of the map, if needed. Skype is prefered for communication.
Terrain Artist:
Creatively design and build the city blocks, facilities and all the layout of the city. I would prefer that the designer would have experience terraining other projects. Quality and realism are the primary aspects in the design of the city. There are several unique buildings (hospital, police station, subway) which have their own layout and can be accessed by entering the building (merely moves the hero and camera view to a section of the map set aside for inner buildings). This will help prevent the map from being cluttered.
Data Expert:
I'm looking for someone who is familiar with the editor and can create a custom ability from scratch. I would like the data editor to create unique abilities for each hero. Each hero will also have their own passive behavior. There are several abilities each player has that depend on their team. Robbers can steal cars, disguise themselves as normal civilians. Cops can search suspisious civilians (hidden robbers) or even npc civilians who may be carrying illegal items, and request back up from npc police.
My Role:
I will design all the UI, triggers and all other miscellaneous data. I will also design and integrate all the parts of the map into the core game.
If you are interested, please send me a PM or leave a post below.
Ultimate Boss Battles is a boss battle-oriented game. The game places emphasis on character customization, progression, and constant action. Players can engage in boss fights and build their characters, while skipping the boring grinding between the fights. The game takes place in the Hyperion, where the heroes fight malignant forces, making the Koprulu sector a better place by defeating epic bosses.

Start fighting bosses by entering the bridge. Bosses reward items. Higher tiers and difficulties drop better items. There's no penalty for losing a boss fight.
If playing multiplayer, revive fallen allies by right clicking on their respawn flag and channeling for the duration.

Every time you level up, be sure to spend your talent and upgrade points.

I've been trying to move the command card tooltip, because when I move the command card buttons and hide the UI art, the tooltip for the command card buttons stays in the same place. which looks very, very bad.
Ideally, I'd move it to a more suitable location, but it doesn't seem to respond to standard dialog hookup, or at least any of the configurations I could think of. The next best thing would be to hide it, but even setting the tooltips of the button to be blank still doesn't work, as it shows a blank tooltip (it just looks like a line).
If anyone knows anything about moving or hiding the tooltip for command card buttons, it would help! Thanks.
I have been working with the editor since the days of the beta and have made some successful maps in that time. At the moment I have two maps on the second page of the highest rated maps in the Americas server. The maps are Cops and Robbers and In Development (Ultimate Boss Battles). I made a video of a map I made around when I first started editing, Warzone:
I have worked alone in the editor so far, but right now I am looking to start a team.
Map Summary
The map will take in place in a galaxy harboring various planets. Players will start off by venturing from their homeworld and build an empire by conquering planets. The planets that are conquered will provide resources which depend on what type of planet. The players will start off with an upgradable capital ship that will serve many vital roles in the battlefield. With the resources gained from planets, players can purchase ships, space platforms, upgrades and many other aids.

Positions I'm looking to fill:
Data editor

Ideal candidates will have Skype/mic. Editors living in a North American timezone is preferential as I would like as many hours a week as possible for myself and members to be able to communicate and test.

Update: The terrain position has been taken. A data editor position is still open.
Note: If you feel that you can help in any other way, then please let me know.
