I'm trying to have triggers create a persistent effect. But for some reason using the create effect on unit functions doesn't work for Create Persistent. I tried it with apply behavior and it works. I was wondering if someone knows how to get a trigger to create persistent from source to target.

I have a beam effect that hits a target and causes it to morph into a different unit. This worked for the most part until I hit a weapon cap of 64. So I can't use morph. I'm trying to use the trigger effect called "replace unit" but if I do that the beam disappear(not the same unit anymore). I need the beam to stay on him b/c its suppose morph back once the beam is ever broken(applies buff). Anyone know how I can do this? maybe replace isn't the right command. I don't know all the ins and outs of trigger editor.
Made a new weapon, one of my towers lost their weapon. So yea its a cap. You can create more then 64 weapons but you can only equip 64 of them otherwise it just start to replace them.
I duplicate the weapon, change the figures then add it to the unit. Yea, I'm sure I didn't hide it. If I remove a weapon from the unit, the ones that disappeared come back. I counted how many weapons I could display among my towers and its 64. This is why I think its cap.
I'm working on my map and I found some strange bug with weapons. I think I have reached some cap to how many weapons your allowed to have. Once I added a new weapon to a tower another tower loses a weapon. Here is some pics for proof. Can anyone help me out or is this a bug I need to report.

Yea the void weapon is little overboard but that has mostly to do with special effects of having extra beams(visual) added as the dmg goes up. The way effect is done is actually pretty nice. thanks for letting know about the attack speed thing didn't know that and could prove to be problem for some of my other weapons.

cool might be worth a shot though here your assuming their is only one weapon. If you have another unit with it and both attacking the target. What will happen with the dmg response? will it remove charges just from one or both. If the not attacking is activated between switching targets or death then this problem will be solved.
I was wondering if someone can help me make a weapon that works similar to the void ray. It would get stronger as it hit the target but once the target is changed or dies it resets counter and has to build up again. Not sure if there is a validator to check if the target changed or not.
minimap: Try View->show UI. There should be features for minimap. Make sure they all checked and uncheck and check again show minimap.
I'm assuming what happened you hit some random key and turned off terrain on the minimap.
1. Make sure you add the model to Art- Model field in the actor. Right now the Actor has link to the art - Model(editor) hence why you can see in the editor and not in the map.
2. not sure about the mini map.
3.You want to use File->close and not the File->Close Window. The editor allows you to open multiple maps but you can only work on one at a time. To switch between them go to Window->(Name of map).

Anyone have an idea?
Also is there a way to change a effect's target using triggers? If there is then I can just replace the unit then apply the effect to the new unit.

The problem is when you link units together with morph it considers it one unit. So there is no way to make the morph work.
