Seems like theres a bone in his foot, thats not linked to the bone in his leg. You just need to go into wire frame (press F3) and look at the bones, select the bone thats being selfish, and link him to the nearest leg bone. If you cant see the bones, check the layers and make sure they're not hidden.
Sorry, It might take me a while longer to make then I expected, because the normal map is proving to be very hard to make. I'm still working on it though so don't worry.
So my question now is if you want me to make it true to the original with the same color scheme and shapes, or do you want me to add fancy symbols and markings to give it a more SC2 kind of feel to it. Symbols like on the cybernetics core if you need an example:
Oh also the back of it seems kind of empty, so I wanted to know If you wanted something there to fill up the space a little:
I felt like making a show case cause everyone else had one. Tell me what you think, i've been working hard to get better. Also I'll take suggestions for models If you want.
SC1-Scarab:
Torresque ultralisk:
low poly
high poly
This next one Is the model I've been working on for "The Thing Revival" . It's a great game and you should check out the forums for it: Click here to check it out!
This one is a concept model, I call it the mantleling. added legs.
SC-1 Hydralisk:
Gigalisk concept model, That I also did for fun 2 days ago:
Bananaling. Sorry about image quality.
I plan to make most of these into something sc2 can use then export them to .m3 with startools. Most of them (except the model for the ThingRevival) Will be free for anyone they want to use. I also dont have a ton of ideas for more models, And I definitely could use more practice, so suggests or concept art you made is very welcome! Bye.
textures can't be added with data or triggers, you need to edit the model to make new textures. However if you already have a texture you can just edit it and put it in for the model. I think the file order is this:
Modelname(folder):
Model.m3, Assets(folder):
Texture.dds

I'm still bad at hard surface modeling in z-brush, so i've been doing it the hard way. 3ds max and alot of modifiers. Looks pretty nice IMO though.

Haha, nice find. That's really interesting, although barely noticeable. I wonder If they just ignored it on purpose.

That's a pretty sweet looking roach. Did you edit the model, or did you change normal map. Or maybe both... but it looks awesome great job.
