Nice, I really like it! very creative use of the goliaths texturing. :) I might try making something terran related some day, I guess I just like zerg mostly though.
Hey, Thanks for the input! Yes I do use Photoshop, I was wondering if their was a way to replicate that shiny effect they had on the zerg speculars. Where do I find this plastic wrap adjustment?
Okay I've retextured this little guy, though once again, my texturing skills are no where near the best. This render Is straight from 3ds max. Anyone know how I can recreate that slimy zerg feeling in the startools settings? has a diffuse, normal, and specular map. Also tell me what you think of it, I want to get other opinions. :)
Edit: Oh, also they grey sections are the parts where it will be team colored.
I'm looking at the sc2 zergling texture right now, and I dont think i can make it fit inside my uv settings, but I'm going to repaint my texture using it as a reference.
Finnally got around to texturing the zergling model. My texturing skills are definitely sub-par, but It still looks pretty good to me at least. took me like an hour to get team color to work...
it has a normal and a diffuse currently.
I'm much better at animating then I am at texturing so this next part will be pretty good hopefully.
Actually I was working on one of those concepts for fun, I almost finished uv unwrapping it too. its the first one called "bane creeper" I think. It takes me an impossible long time to finish anything I start though, I don't have very much free time to spend doing things for others....

Nice stuff, big fan of lego figures myself. Maybe if i had a 3d printer I could make custom pieces for lego guys. that would be awesome :)

@DeltaCadminus lol okay then.
UVW unwrapping hands and complicated objects is the most frustrating thing ever... Almost not worth the effort. >:(

I found a couple blast effects in the assets and desaturated them. you were kinda vague on which effects so I grabbed whatever I could find.

It's probably a bit inconsistent because the game model dev team and the cinematic dev team are two separate groups working independent of each other.

Anyone wanna list some features they'd want for a better website?
