    Absolutely NO WAY to create the wc3 lobby?

    Also on an unrelated note, (made another thread as unrelated) On a map with locked teams how do I test map as another player? Whenever I hit ctrl+F9 it fires the game up as player 1. Any way to change which perspective I want to play on? Thanks.

    posted a message on How do I prevent players from joining the wrong team while still being able to select teams?

    Dear all, I have a problem. Map is going well, but problem is I wish to allow players to select which side they want to play on (team 1 or 2, 4 slots each) since this game can be played in PvE mode there is no need for balanced teams. The problem is this is a 2-team RPG-style map where each player gets some units/base, and when players drag themselves into different slots, you end up in the opposing faction's side of the map.

    I tried locking players to team, but this would essentially prevent people from stacking 4v0 and playing PvE mode. Allowing them to move around results in the above problem. Would appreciate a fix for this, thank you very much.

    Essentially I want the wc3 system where players can pick a slot, but in game buildings/units are tied to slot not player, so that you don't end up gaining buildings in the middle of the enemy base when the game starts because you switched teams in the lobby, and end up with nothing on the side you're supposed to be on.

    Thanks. Now having the opposite problem, sometimes when I click on one doodad it selects a TON of them for me...

    ALSO HOW DO I TURN OFF THAT DAMNED REGION COLOR? It's putting a big blue hue all over the place and I can't terrain properly... (Rather than unchecking "visible" one by one)

    And finally, how do I set weather effects to a region without doodads? In wc3 we could easily just set it in region editor. I am already using 400 doodads and I have only terrained less than 3% of the map area... at this rate I will run out of doodads if the limit is indeed 10,000.

    Hi folks, quick question. In wc3 we could drag-select multiple units or doodads and change attributes for them such as who owns them/facing angle for units and scale/facing angle for doodads. This could be done without having to select the units and change them one by one. In the galaxy editor sure enough I can drag select, but it won't let me edit them en masse, when I click a unit it immediately de-selects the rest and so I have to manually edit them one by one.

    Help to get around this appreciated. Thanks.
