Have you tried having a look to the behavior that makes the larva move around the nearest Hatchery? I think it was something like "Larva Wander". Maybe that's the reason for it
I need it for a on-going Protoss campign but I don't seem to find where to show it. I've looked on so many decals on the model viewer, digging on the parameters they have to be like that model's, but nothing work. If it's so difficoult to be done I simply leave those models and continue with another thing.
Can someone help me on showing the decals which are found on the archonsummoningcircle.dds on the model itself? I've been digging but I can't find a way for showing it or I don't understand the model itself. If you look at the main textures of the model, you can see it shows some Protoss decals but on the previewer you don't see them, not even activating the Terrain showing tool, which are the way most splat, cursor, decals models are shown.
Solve. Once you have your models ready, you only need to duplicate the "Protoss Shield" models (only the ones liked to actors, don't know of the "fizzle" one) and it's actors, in addition to the "Shield Impact" actor. You just have to edit that actor and add an "Unit Creation" event validated to only the units you want to be affected by the new models with a "Destroy" action targeting the "Shield Impact" original actor, so it does not create the blue shield model. Then you edit the event on the new actor to validate the Shield Capable units and the units you want to be affected.
I've already edited the model. It's quite easy: edit the texture with Photoshop and change the texture on the model with the m3addon for Blender (only the external programs: m3ToXml.py and XmlTom3.py).
I don't know if it's only me or everyone but when I go to the trigger module and open that mission the folders are there but they have no name nor anything inside them.
If I do that, it would probably also affect to the actual Protoss Shield models. What I want is to have my Protoss Shield recolor to affect only my Protoss recolored units.
Hey guys, I'm trying to change the color of the normal Protoss shields to an orange version of it. It's plenty easy: just extract and edit model's textures. What I want is this model to only be applied to my own recolor of the Protoss models. I've been looking and Protoss Shield actors have an Alias of _ShieldVisual. I'd like to know if there's a way of doing this and only affect my shields to my units, not all Protoss ones.
I've just realised of your problem. Let me "explain": if you got to the Swarm Host Actor you'll see that on the Event: Macros + field you have something called Zerg Medium Burrow Effects. If you follow that chain you'll realised that actor has the model and the sound liked to it on it's events.

Have you tried checking the Unit itself to see if it has the "Rank Display" enabled? Maybe not the exact name but it something with "Rank".

Both, the icon and the number, are part of the Upgrade. You should look at the Terran Infantry Weapon upgrade fields.
