if you open the console browse type in "browse" (no quotes), search for the image, and you can export from there.

Alternatively there is the paint.net program or probably plently of image rotators online (google em, i have paint.net installed on my machine).

Could point me in the direction of "Browse"?  I do not see in the Trigger Editor.

Alternatively, you can export your image directly from inside the editor (when selecting a new image, be it for a dialog or somewhere else, right-click on the file) and convert it with Aorta.

Make sure to uncheck the "Generate Mipmaps" option when converting a normal image file to .dds, however. Starcraft II generates its own mipmaps (or something like that), and failing to uncheck that option will lead to problems.

hmm OK this sounds good.  I download Aorta.
how to find the file to right-click?  using the Triggers Interface cannot right-click file...
Just need to get the file to Aorta then can import .dds?

I am constructing Dialog interface for map.

I would like to horizontal flip image "Assets\Textures\ui_void_storyborder_topcorner_highlight.dds"

Anyone know how to locate image?

Can just flip in Paint and then Import (F9)?

yeah dude compared to your other options it's  great. map editing is the heart and soul of starcraft for me and i don't see how that could ever change.

the solar system is really important to the project. i'm gonna be investigating this for the next few days. i don't think fog color is going to have the answer, so maybe a custom light region

Here is video of my project. When Actor goes off the map there is no lighting for model. Any solutions to this?

Yeah, this is already really helpful. I found several useful options under Render

Show Ground > Grid hides Actors on the map and only displays the Grid, so the Model stands out.

Also under Render > Show Attachment Points is really helpful.

Seems like the best solution is to use Text+ Multiple with many elements. Unfortunately it seems possible to have about 18 elements.

This Blizzard tutorial looks like it could be really helpful with the cutscene editor.

posted a message on [Bounds] Planet Rotation

It seems this is possible. To prevent the planet disappearing when it leaves the map bounds it is possible to uncheck model flags+: update visibility

planet orbit can have radius of about 270

ah but i wanna make a whole solar system. so the planets will go way outside the map bounds and the actor will disappear. it disappears about 20 outside map bounds which doesn't make sense because the skybox actor can go way outside map bounds
