As ridiculous as that may sound, it's unfortunately true. If you publish your map privately, and let someone else test it, your map is now public. That other person can take your map and publish it publicly wherever they want, since they've now downloaded it from you.
Well if your map is locked others can't publish it as far as I know. I haven't published my map at this point, but I must admit I am a bit worried that there will be some sort of unforseen bug that I wasn't able to catch simply by testing the map through the editor.
xttocs: 1 or 2 tickets left now. Basically I just pickup the ticket at Blizzcon and hand it to you at entrance to the event. Names can't be changed on the tickets anymore, so I have to pick it up.
I'm going - I started a roomie thread - I'd love to split the hotel costs with some fellow modders - I know I'm not very active on the forums, but that's just because I'm overly active with the editor =D
I'm curious to know if anyone is interested in rooming with me at Blizzcon 2010 to split the cost of a room. Right now there are suites still available at the Anabella hotel directly next to the convention center which cost the exact same per night as regular rooms ($128.00 USD/night) There are 2 bedrooms in these suites which would allow us to very comfortably accomodate 4 people, and more if no one minds. Reply if you are interested and PMs catch my attention even faster.
If anyone is located in the DFW metroplex let me know - I'm looking for locals only at this point.
I've had a team meeting weekly since early February, and twice a week since the the Galaxy Editor was released.
I have personally been brainstorming, planning, and recording ideas since BlizzCon 2009 back in August, 2009 when the news about a map marketplace in StarCraft 2 was announced.

Ya guys - this isn't cool. If you want to be seen as professionals, this is definitely not scoring your website any kudo points...

I have 2-3 tickets for sale (depending on whether another of my friends decides to go or not). If anyone wants to buy a Blizzcon ticket still, PM me.
