Not a balance expert, but was able to destroy an AI protoss army twice as expensive as mine using the DoT abberation.
Yeah, I'm starting to wonder if I made the Plaguebringer a bit too powerful. Did you use just one, or were you massing them? What sort of army comp were you facing? If it was, say, mostly Gateway units, then that may simply be a matter of the Plaguebringer being too good in its role as a counter to large armies, but if it was a squad of Void Rays and Immortals or something, then that might be a problem.
Hello there! I'm UndeadIrishman, and I've made a mod that adds a fourth race (the Infested) to the game. I'd love to get some feedback on it, particularly in how well the race does against different match-ups, since my goal is to (within reason) balance the race relative to the other three.
The mod works by adjusting the starting units for the Terran race so that Terrans start with a new structure called an Outpost instead of a Command Center, and locking all SCV build options behind owning a CC. The Outpost can morph into a CC, in which case the player plays Terran as normal, or the Outpost can morph into a Mound, which also changes all their workers into the workers of the Infested race.
Try to play against other players, since I haven't done anything to adjust the game's AI. Zerg and Protoss AI seem to work correctly (though I imagine that there are settings that affect how the AI reacts to your units, which I haven't touched), but Terran AI in particular just doesn't work half the time because of the changes to them.
