    I'll give this a shot, in the mean time i added a number of points around the area that my building is in and used the "upon unit death create units" and spawned a rather large number of hostile burrowed spider mines.. seems to do the trick for now :)

    Hi All,

     

    I'm very new to SC2 Editor and am floundering something chronic. I have managed a number of triggers, such as gates & unit spawning etc, but can't for the life of me figure out how to make an explosion occur in a region when a building is destroyed. 

     

    In essence I currently have 1 unit spawn every 5 seconds of game time at a random location within a region while a specific Command Centre is alive (This works).

    When the CC is destroyed I want it create a large explosion at its location (or a point or region) to damage surrounding units or kill them (or frankly anything that kills things in a region). I have tried;

    - Spawning "Large" explosions at and around the location (which works however no unit damage, just a visual)

    - Causing a nuclear explosion with a spawned ghost. (didn't work)

    - Spawning exploding banelings at location (Didn't work)

    - Spawning 25 fireworks at location (also didn't work, was just trying to get something to show up)

     

    Please please please help...
