Sorry for being a week late here. This week's theme is Terror from the Deep. Give me your best sea monsters, massive whirlpools, or what have you! Free idea since the Mac editor won't open: a floating Protoss base being attacked by a leviathan out of the ocean.
This is an issue for all Mac users. I talked to a GM about it yesterday and it was the first the team had heard of it, but they've passed it to QA, so hopefully we'll get a hotfix soon?
In honor of Mass Effect: Andromeda's release, this week we're going to The Frontier. Show us the fringes of space colonization! Are there ancient ruins? Verdant jungles? I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
This is such a cool tileset. I haven't had a chance to work with it yet, and I think there are probably some others who'd like the chance, so let's extend by a week.
For this week, we're going to use a custom tileset created by Mapster user Phail that recreates the original Starcraft Badlands tileset (see screenshot). You can download the tileset template map at http://www.screference.op74.net/wte/antiga.rar. Create whatever you want, as long as it draws on the tileset! For the time being, we're going to run these every two weeks. Hopefully participation picks up once Rock the Cabinet has ended.
I finally made time to do a WTE. As usual, I only gave myself an hour, so there's definitely room for improvement, but I had fun making it. My original inspiration was the Midgar sewers from FFVII, which I attached.
Agreed with Broods on the Skybox methodology, especially for scenes like this. You can place it exactly where you want. Maybe someone can make a tutorial of it?
That's 78 pages since we made the switch. It seems to be about a page of spam a day, so it's not unconquerable as long as we remember to keep an eye on it.
Seriously, y'all would not believe how much spam there is. DrSuperEvil is a hero for going through the queue. I'm doing some, but I have to admit I often forget.

You should post on the project page, not the forum.

Oh, I meant to say we're going another week, sorry. I got super busy the last couple days.

I'd be down if you can write us a tutorial?

I'm going to extend this by a week, which is probably going to be the case for a while. I suspect many people are wrapped up in RTC entries.

Real spam that comes in droves and gets eaten by the filter.
