posted a message on What to change in the Galaxy Editor

Dear SC2mapsters, I was really looking forward to do custom maps at SC2. Had big plans what to do with it, how I will master it and so on. I started learning it at Beta and it looked promising. A lot of options was confusing but "Hey it's new stuff, be patient!" But that confusion just wasn't dissappearing. It took me more then hour to unsuccesfully make Throw Grenade abillity with arc I wanted. What I really liked at WC3 editor was that to basic things editor was perfect and to everything other there was JASS. Sure there is Galaxy too, but that simple steps like creating new unit or abillity are too complicated at sc2 (or rather frustrating to newbie). I wasn't probably patient enough and I'm sure some of others here will appreciate that complexity, which generally means more options to map makers. But I abaddoned my idea on creating maps and I will probably not buy sc2 (map making was the main reason why to do so). On the other hand I really wish you guys out there good luck with it and I'll probably keep an eye on mapster. Its awesome community! (High five to Vjeux). Guy that you hardly know and will forget in few secs Listonos

Callex got a good point so why not even make AIs tournament (ofcourse with additional rules (no cheating with resources etc.))? Something like SC2mapster invitational? :-)

Complete surviving guide of marine soldier in hostile enviroment (shortly CSGoMSiHE)

    Article no. 685

If you happen to find yourself at desert planet occupied by zergs, there are three simple steps to survive:

    1) Replace fear with ignoring

    2) ???

    3) Profit

Video tutorial: (Still processing = bad quality)

If you have better graphic card then me (which you surely have), below is original map.

Edit2: Uploaded original file here! Edit: Now even more awesome with music!

After discussion with vjeux you can find file there: http://www.sc2mapster.com/assets/sc2mapster-logo/ If you would like other formats PM me, ill upload it later.

Wave, I'm not sure, if this is right category, so feel free to move it. I created unofficial video logo for SC2 mapster. Every serious site need it and I didn't see one for sc2mapster. I can upload it somewhere, if there will be interest.

Original resolution: 800x600 Size: 7.7 MB Format: Quick time video (possible other formats aswell).

My entry is some sort of screensaver with SC2 topic. Time is speeded up (minute has 15 seconds and hour has 15 minutes). Minute hand is Overlord (Listening to Spawn more Overlords was annoying) and Second hand is bigger zergling (named Bob). There is suprise every minute and even better every hour (=225 real time seconds). Enjoy
