posted a message on Strange problem with coolups and cooldowns

Hello guys. While making an extension mod, I've encountered a problem.

I have Top Bar with abilities. One ability has 600 seconds coolup and 360 seconds cooldown (in the Editor, just like all others Campaign and Co-op coolups and cooldowns). When I'm publishing my mod  (don't ask why xD) for testing purposes and starting the game, I can see, that my ability has 430 seconds coolup and around 260 seconds cooldown, which isn't intended to be. I've read, that it is game speed effects, because it seems like value is divided by 1.4, the Faster game speed multiplier. Later, I've manually multiplied that 600 seconds coolup and 360 seconds cooldown by 1.4 in the Editor. It resulted in 840 seconds coolup, 504 seconds cooldown. When I've started the game, it showed 600 seconds coolup and 360 seconds cooldown, just as it is intended. But, the main thing is that all Campaign and Co-op coolups and cooldowns aren't multiplied by anything to get the right (intended) number in game (e.g. Deploy Dark Pylon ability has 60 seconds cooldown in the Editor and in the game, on any game speed, it shows that 60 seconds as it is intended to be). So, my question is, why are coolups and cooldowns in my mod are divided by 1.4 and how to get rid of that annoying problem? I want to get 600 seconds coolup and 360 seconds cooldown for my ability in the Editor and in the game on any game speed. P.S. If creating a custom map, it works normally as intended. But with mod results in this strange problem. I've tried everything that I found on forums, nothing changed. I'm using Void Campaign and Co-op dependencies (I've already tried without the Co-op dependency). Ask screenshots if you need them :)

I'm using kerrigan's apocalypse ability cursor splat model (zerg aoe cursor). I've also tried to make my own cursor splat actor, but it still doesn't work.

Of course, I did that already, my problem is that the cursor splat actor isn't adjusting it's size to the search area size. Btw, that ability is used from dummy unit, and the button is placed on Top Bar-like panel. Maybe it is because of that?

    • Hello, I have a problem.
    • I've created an ability, which does damage in 8 radius over time. I want to make a cursor splat for it, but when I'm trying to use existing actors or even creating a new actor, it doesn't change it's scale to the ability search area. It still displays as small circle. I tried changing a lot of parameters, but still nothing...
    • I'd greatly appreciate your help :)
