somehow the animation got screwed up when i imported. Didn't bother to fix because its just a Vid Preview. Will be better when Map will be released.

as far as i know no one has found a way to rotate the models without problems in galaxy editor. The guys of wowmodelviewer are workin on it so you can export the models with weapons etc. allready attached. If you don't wan't to use 3dsmax then you will have to wait. But it is not complicated what i am doing in 3dsmax. And it works with trial version. So just go dl Trial and try it out.
This is a Tutorial on how to attach Various models on to Wow Characters or Creatures.
Since it is not yet possible to export Weapons or Shoulders etc. with the wowmodelviewer.
The Workaround has its downsides. And is a little bit more complicated.
One Downside is: It won't import the Particles of the Model. (Maybe it does and i just don't know how.)

If you have a better way of doing this : Make a tutorial. Let us know.

Hey Guys i want to show u guys my first imported Character with Shoulders helmet and Weapons.
There is some problems though.
Since you have to import Shoulders, Weapons and Helmet seperatly, the Attachement will screw up when they are nor Rotated correctly.
That's why i rotated them in 3dsmax and imported. Lots of work to roatate and place them correctly. Because i have done that. Somehow the particles are not working. I didn't care so i didn't look into this. (and i really have no experience with 3dsmax)
For Clarification. All attachements move with the Character. So they don't freeze like they would if you rotate them in Galaxy Editor via SOp's
I have spoken to 2 very expierienced Data Editors about this, they also couldn't find out why they freeze when rotated via SOp's.
pm me for instructions how do do this. I will reply as soon as i can. And maybe make a Tutorial. I have got it workin. Also i am now trying to import Characters and attach shoulders and Helmet.
Hi Guys, as u can see in the Thread Title I am making an Aggro System like in RPG's such as wow.
Here is a Video to show you how far i am.

I have attached a Picture with all the Triggers so you can look at it.
My Problem is as you can see in the Video. The Aggro is Global to all attacking units. I am trying to find a way so that the Aggro is different for each enemy unit. If you understand what i mean. In the Video you will see that the first Zergling i attack is correctly attacking the Unit who has more aggro. But the second Zergling also attacks the Unit with the Most Aggro. What i want is that the Second Zergling starts at 0 0 0 Aggro for all Heroes.
Hope i explained it good enough :)
btw.
You can Modify and use the code for my Aggro System as ur own. But i would be glad if you gave me a little credit ;)
If i get some help so the Aggro system works on every single unit not on all globaly. I will release The Code as Libary.
So ;) pls help :)

the problem lies in your Actor Events Tab. The Actor is created when an effect is applied.
Example:
Psi Storm model:
Effect.PsiStormPersistant.Start
->Create
Effect.PsiStormPersistant.Stop
->AnimBracketStopBSD
You have to change each copied Actor model Event to the copied Effect.
Hope you understand what i mean.

the way i do it is only import the weapon to 3ds max and rotate it. Of course i guess there are several ways.
I find my way a little bit easyer. But you can decide for yourself.
I will post my tutorial in 1-2h. Its rendering now and uploading.

Hey Guys is it possible to implement the Export Rotation of the models ? So it will export 90° or 180° or -90° rotated ?
This would make it much easyier with attachements. So far i am importing in 3dsmax and rotate it then reimport it in GE.
Because somehow there is a problem when attaching wow models

if you do loops it will lag the server more then neccesary. This way it only executes if the target mob is attacked or itself attacks.
Only problem is that the Aggro effects all creatures that are attacking. But i will figure it out... or maybe someone else has an idea.
