How is that going to help though? I imagine (if I set resource costs to 0 so the ability button doesn't error me out) it will set the costs to 0 in the tooltip too which must not happen.
Basically you have a train ability that costs something like minerals or energy, but what it actually costs is 0 and you can always use the ability without an error (and do various funky stuff behind the scenes to decide what happens with the ability)
Also the resource costs must be shown in the proper place, not faked somewhere in the button's description with embedded images for the icons etc.
Thanks for any help!
You might find something in Gameplay Data, look for its tab in the data editor, from what I know it's not possible though, you can only increase that range with Minimum Scan Range on weapons.
Yes! More people should join this! Let's work together to create a great campaign scene. :D
There may be a "campaign scene" yet now that Blizzard released the Art Tools, however there is still a lot left for them to do:
a) unlock more triggers that are Blizzard-only, they can start with the Autosave triggers
b) if they expect people to actually play campaigns online: allow save/load without replays, allow playing campaigns in singleplayer WITHOUT battlenet lag, allow map-linking in multiplayer, implement those online banks they were talking about
Will add my project when I finally have a thread for it.
What kind of button? If it's a Dialog Item, then you would use the Set Dialog Item Value trigger, with the value being a function Concatenate Strings, the first string is "Count of weapon upgrade:" or whatever and the second string being Convert Integer To String function, where the integer is Upgrade Count for Player (function name might be slightly different)
Issue Order should work, just make sure the order being given a target point, it should target "Caster Point" I think, right now it might have no target, "Caster Unit" or "Target Unit" which are probably all bad.
Awesome idea, if I can make a simple request, please make it (or a separate version?) have a turret for the dish, so it can move around or be set to spin constantly like the Missile Turret.
Radar is not quite useless, know it gets automatically added to units that have a behavior that sets their Radar radius to something bigger than 0, so units that can "radar" will always have the Radar flag.
I'm guessing this is done by disabling each activated ability's button for like 0.0625 seconds so the other one can trigger too. You can do this with a behavior by going Modification+ -> Ability -> Disabled Abilities.

These should be editable Actors in the Actor tab, a lot of stuff is at least, have a look there.

Yes my old solution has long stopped working and I haven't been able to find any other, must be Blizz's fault. Help anyone?

Just look in the Sounds tab or the Alerts tab, they're definitely in there I've changed them before

Try the "Uninterruptible" ability flag, like on Yamato Gun.

Edit the units' weapons "minimum scan range" property.

No ideas? Thought it was easy to add stuff onto the UI with triggers now, that might be just for stuff like status bars though.
