A link in the main menu at the top to a categorized tutorial section (with a rating system maybe?) would be nice.
oh, 1 more thing I just noticed. Below my avatar there's a text stating that I made 2 addons, which is true, but they are for WoW and not for SC2. Maybe it should just list the number of stuffs an author made for SC2?
I got it to work, turned out I had to indeed put the texture in the import manager, also inside the texture properties I had to remove the paths (assets/textures) and only put in the name of the texture.
Thanks a lot for all the help, it's really appreciated.
now on to making some good textures and work on a real map...gogo me!
can't find the textures - they should be in the Import Manager right?
Another thing that might be a problem is that the normal map is equal to the texure map. Incase you don't know what to do there, just put an empty white texture in the normal map; that worked fine for me
thanks...I'll try out that last tip. And I'll see if I can put it in the import manager, hadn't really tried that :S
So, I decided to try and make my own terrain textures, I got a texture imported into the map editor and it shows up fine there. But when I test the map, all textures turn out white in the game. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong?
never mind how ugly this texture looks, it's only for testing...
