    Mission Update

    08 Gate to Eternity V.02

     

    - Reintegrate previously deleted Twilight council scene back to the map.
    - Reintegrate previously deleted Boss banters back to the map.
    - Slightly increase the difficulty of the first part of the map.
    - Add new banters.
    - Increase Replicant's energy shield cost from 30 to 50 energy.
    - Increase YMIR's repair cost from 50 to 75 minerals.
    - Increase YMIR's repaired HP from 400 to 500 points.
    - Reduce YMIR's repair cooldown from 60 to 50 seconds.
    - Change Ymir's hero icon from greyscale to RGB.
    - Add music to boss fight.
    - Medium terrain polishing.
    - Now the zerg mods included in the zip file.

     

    Going to test it a few more time before upload tonight.

    Without it , the zerg models will remain vanilla one.

    Almost complete, but then I remember there is this one cool kerrigan model by IDW that I always wanted to use but never got the chance to use it.

    I will make minor adjustment to the map to add subtle way use of the model.

    Ahh, I see. Sure. Real life come first right.

     

    The Gorgon ? And you want the weapon to fire from the head ?

    Just click on the one with "Filter head" on it and it should work.

     

    Ref_head -> filter head.

    Ref_weapon01 -> filter weapon 01

    Etc.

    Welcome back.

     

    Alright, first problem is solved.

    Said unit does have weapon attach points.

     

    Now to make sure the projectile model launch from that specific point.

     

    Here is one example of linking the projectile to the launch point.

    I use a Photon Cannon as an example. 

     

    Picture 1.

    1. Open a map [any map is fine].

    2. Click on the unit tab [U].

    3. At the search tab type photon, scroll until you find the photon cannon

    4. At the unit tab, scroll until you find unit weapon, right click and select "view linked weapon".

     

     

    Picture 2.

    1. In the weapon tab scroll down and look for the "Photon cannon Attack" and click on it.

    2. On the right tab look for "launch attachment query" and double click on it.

    3. A new tab will open.

     

    Picture 3.

    1. In the new tab, click the + icon.

    2. In the right tab, search for the name of weapon attach point.

    3. A list will pop up, showing all the weapon attach name.

    4. Click the one matching the unit's weapon attach point name [or where you want the projectile to launch from]. 

    5. Click ok.

     

    Ok, now you know how to link a weapon projectile to a unit weapon attach point.

    Next open your unit's weapon and repeat the process.
