So I'm trying to rework the Predator unit slightly. As already known, Predators have this AoE whenever they strike a target, dealing damage to enemies around them. Now, I want to add an additional effect to this AoE, which is basically to heal the Predator for +3 health per target.
I've made a new "Modify Unit" effect and applied it as an additional effect that occurs within the Retribution Field (Search), which basically searches for targets to hit with the AoE. In the "Vitals - Change:" I've put "3" Life, and have assigned it to affect the "Caster" unit.
Despite my efforts, this does not create the desired effect I want, and the Predator doesn't heal no matter how many targets it hits. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
NOTE: I've provided a bunch of screenshots so you can get a visual understanding of what I've done.

In reply to DEFILERRULEZ:It can't be attacked by melee because of the pool. Newborn parasites nest within it, so stepping into the pool would basically force your units to be infected. As long as you keep your distance from the liquid itself, you're good to go. I know it sucks, but in terms of the story progression, it makes sense to prevent melee units from being effective.

Mission 20 Released!
And not only that, with its release comes updates to previous missions, including:
- A07, A13, A18, A19: Moved the Overlord's "Morph to Overseer" button to the bottom-left instead of button-right position of the command card.
- A07, A13, A18, A19: Increased the base movement speed of Overseers from 1.875 to 3.25.
- A18, A19: Fixed the alert tooltip for the Mutalisk's "Vicious Glaive" upgrade.
- A18, A19: Fixed a few typos.
(Updated map files still under review, so they might not be visible atm)

Consistency is the only reason I haven't done it, because that would mean I'd have to go back to every other mission that uses them and make that change, and at this point I just want to move on and let past missions be :P It's a pretty silly reason, but I really have to add it because even I feel slightly annoyed by their slow movement speed. (Particularly on mission 19).Jayborino! You're supposed to use hotkeys you lazy pig! Nah, it's fine. I'll move that Overseer button pronto. :)

It appears that the latest patch have fixed the camera bugs, and the Mac editor no longer crashes upon entering a game. I just thought I'd relay this info here aswell in case some people did not know yet. Maps are now officially bug free!

There was a couple things I've wanted to change with dialogue to better align with where the story's going now, but I just haven't gotten around to it.I currently have no plans to include voice acting. It's a cool feature, but something that takes very long, and probably will cost me quite a bit too.

In reply to EDHRIANO:I'm not entirely sure why, but I don't get these issues on EivindL's maps either. It seems that only some maps are affected.Some of my older missions taht I haven't touched in a while are still affected, though. Don't think it's patch-specific.

Please note that cameras during cinematics are currently bugged due to the latest patch, so they may move in an irregular fashion or outright cut straight to where it was supposed to end up after a couple of seconds of moving. Just to let you guys know, I am aware of this, but it is unfortunately not an error on my part!

In reply to TheAzureguy:It appears that it's more rare than anything if it doesn't occur in cameras with short transitions. I've checked several of my cinematics that have only about 5-8 seconds will sometimes also bug out :/Here's hoping that Blizz might fix it sooner since not only Mac users are affected this time. One can dream, at least.
