    Tactic | New Custom RTS [video]

    New custom map i've been working on. Video explains all of it :)

    Basically its its own RTS. You can play the map 1v1. The goal of the game is to destroy the enemy fortress. You capture resource nodes in the 3 lanes of the map which give you control of refineries that give you income.

    Training units is also unique, you create squads of units at your Training Grounds, then they'll start "Training". Once a timer runs out, they march to your base and then come under your control.

    All of the units are remade. They try to take the same role as the would, but some are switched around.

    Currently on US servers

    • My ingame name is Vulture.611

    Evacuation is a 3 player cooperative survival game where you and two other players pick between 9 different heros to defend against 15 waves of zerg and 3 bosses. You have to use teamwork and find a good strategy to complete all of the waves. Each hero is divided into three categories:

    Damage:

    • Marksman: Long ranged damage dealer

    • Heavy: Slow, but massive area damage abilities.

    • Sabatour: Quick attacker who can use bombs.

    Support:

    • Medic: Healer who has many abilties to keep everyone alive.

    • Psionic: Spellcaster with a variety of abilties.

    • Telepath: Ghost who can mind control enemies and create hallucinations.

    Health:

    • Engineer: Tech who can place turrets and mines.

    • Guardian: Melee hero who can prevent enemies from getting to other players.

    • Pyro: Firebat who can stay alive when swarmed and roast groups of enemies.

    I have had little experience with map editors in the past and i've just started using the editor since launch, so i'm still working on getting some things to work. I did this kind of map since i figured i could make it fun and challenging without it being limited by my experience. It would help alot if you tried the map and give me feedback, its currently on US servers, but its pretty far down the list, so i suggest you bring some friends.

    Hey, i've been unable to figure out how to make it so every 30 seconds, a unit will spawn by a building.

    To be more specific, i have a builder unit who builds buildings that spawn a unit every 30 seconds, but i can't figure out how to do it with buildings that arent already there.

    So, i was going to make a map using blistering sands where i would make it so players could play Terran vs Terran with all of the campaign units, mercinaries, etc.

    After spending a day to figure out why "starcraft" was an unacceptable word in blizzard's filter list, i came across this error.

    "The Published name "Dunas Escaldantes" Is unavailable. [Portugues (BR) <Prbt>]"

    Uhh, ideas on how to fix?

    (No, the map name isn't Dunas Escaldantes or Blistering Sands)

    Most maps have the map image as the image when searching through maps, but some have an image. I want to put an image on mine, but it sends you to the archive browser, and i have no idea how to locate my picture. How do you put in a custom picture.

    I have a 4v4 map, and all of the players spawn in the right locations, its just for some reason, it always sets it so one player on team 2 is on team 1. How do you fix this?
