    A small overview about a proof of concept map based on the "EDGE" game on iPhone.

    Contains base physics of the game and also a small editor.

    Not sure about a map development about this... But another good example of the possibilities of the editor.

    Limitations of the engine

    • Maximum of 2000 blocks (clean blocks doesn't exists)
    • No size limit (the area used for the game depends only from the map size)
    • Physics is not well managed (Balance gameplay not included)

    Useful in :

    • Data References in text variables (<d ref="<sub>">).</sub>
    • XML Edition of data
    • Functions in "Catalog" Category (Trigger Editor)

    The first interest is to know the access path of a field, useful for the 3 quoted cases

    Btw, it's not about "Data Editor", but about "Data". No interest in the Data Editor in particular, but has an interest for all access to the game data in Data Editor, Trigger Editor and by using a XML Editor.

    Then I just want to "teasing" you with 2 pictures of my current project as an evolution of Dialog Designer.

    I'm studying the feasibility of this project. It's coded in C# and I want the code be open source.

    Update 3.5 available !

    Effective Changes

    • Several bugs with Blizzard edit box solved.
    • Aggregate will be available for dialog items. Enable this property will make unselectable all dialog items related with this dialog item on the dropbox list.
    • Adding Liberty Campaign textures in the Texture Selector
    • SC2Bank files generated by clicking the "Save button" are now compatible with v140 and v141 versions.
    • Adding a "Style" property for Labels, allow you to set a correct style for your dialog item.
    • Trying an Improve for performances when an item is selected in the Selector dropbox.

    In addition, I'm trying a new way for the translation. It's possible to find translation problems, then warn me if this is the case.

    Thanks for the reply.

    The library contains a "Compact" function, but triggers an error when used.

    Btw i found the problem. I had to "Compact" the archive file each time i add a file, not only at the end.

    I will check the library you use. The functions are very similar. Maybe it works well than MPQLib... :)

    I will send a new version to Wolfrein to be transleted into russian this evening.

    New update will be available soon (~ tuesday) and will solve several problems triggered by the 1.3 update.

    To solve the problem you describe in the new version, you will check new option on dialog items named "Group :". This will hide in the dropbox all dialog items related to the dialog item you will mark the "Group" option as true.

    Hum...

    Exams are finished. The software works well, but still remains several bugs.

    A huge annoying bug is the saving. Each time you save the map with GLE the size will grow up until insane sizes of 20-30Mb.

    If I load and I save this map with GE, the size will return to normal values.

    I'm using the MPQLib component for C#, If you know how to removes this annoying behavior, don't hesitate!

    The project is not paused anymore. The main problem is resolved and a release can be hoped in june.

    Okay thanks. Star World will be an ORPG for "Online" and for "Open" in this case :P

    Be carreful @t users!

    If you save your dialogs with the Blizzard Save button (F10 > Save), the next update will remove compatibility with these saved dialogs. I strongly advice you to backup your dialogs with the Save button implemented by the map.

    Is there a way to move the render of dialogs created near an UI component?

    I would like the command panel is completely visible and not obscured by the dialog.
