posted a message on How to make Reference in data editor descriptions for a behavior

    Hi guys,

I have a hero that has Strength attribute from a behavior and it currently has about 500. How do i write a <d ref > in the description to show the total points of this Strength behavior on the hero? <d" ref behavior, strength, amount "/> comes up as a zero so i must be missing something.

posted a message on How to Combine 2 Data Reference

    Good afternoon all,

I am currently working on Hero abilities in my map and I want to combine the damage reference for the Damaging ability + the heroes current total Strength behavior. I can create the data reference for the current damage of the ability. But I cant seem to make it calculate his total strength. And afterwards I can't figure out how to combine 2 data references to make one number in the description. Can anyone help me figure out how?

<d ref="Effect,AcidBlastDamage,Amount"/> +(i don't think + works to combine) <d ref="Behavior,Strength,Amount"/>    <--- this brings up a zero so i must need to word this differently?

    Thanks
