PATCH 1.76 29/06/2014

GAMEPLAY

Terran

- Valkyrie line of sight has been increased from 14 to 18.

- Siege tanks may now siege without any colliding issues.

- Command Center now has a working "Cancel Queue" button.

Zerg

- Hydralisk Den now has two morphing options: Lurker Den and Impaler Den, you may only choose one and each unlocks a different mutation strain.

- Impaler added as a Hydralisk mutation, strong vs armored.

- Lurker remains but's got it's attack reduced vs armored.

- Torrasque now gets the reincarnation ability which brings him back from death after a few seconds.

- Devourer weapon icon and level now upgrade correctly.

- Infestor Colony infestation's timer reduced, it took too long to convert a building.

- Ultralisks got their spines removed, it was anti-lore.

Protoss

- Psi Storm damage reduced.

- Building Shield and Purify abilities now working properly.

- New Vindicator unit, ranged protoss infantry with void ray-like attack.

VISUALS

- Valkyrie, Corsair, Guardian, Stone Zealot, Dragoon, Reaver, Dark Archon and Arbiter got their portraits and voice improved. (Thanks SC1:Mass Recall Team!)

- New attack animation for corsairs.

- New attack sounds for Valkyrie.

- Shield Battery model updated.

- Pylon powerfield now reflects it's range correctly.

- Siege Tank's night lights were removed.

- Vile Roach slime effect got it's size reduced.

- Zerglings now have different sizes to add some additional eye candy.

- Hydralisk's frenzy animation got it's size reduced.

- Goliath and Hercules death animations got their scale fixed.

PATCH 1.11 & 1.12 18/06/2013

GAMEPLAY

- Some minor bug fixes.

- All races supply capacity slightly lowered to reduce lag.

- To represent difference between standard infantry and more highly trained infantry, ghosts, spectres & hydralisks get a slightly bigger selection radius. Since all protoss units are highly trained, they all get the upgrade.

- Some minor behavior adjustments to improve gameplay and reduce lag.

-High Templars get a new model (thanks to GhostNova91!) and the zealot psi blades while keeping their powers. This is because templars are supposed to be the best protoss warriors including melee combat and it's ironic they don't get a melee combat behavior aswell as the psi abilities.

VISUALS

- New Umojan marine model, now corresponding to HotS cinematics. (Thanks to GhostNova91!).

- Fixed some issues when various button tooltips didn't show up.

- All capital ships hitpoints reduced by 2500.

- Battlecruiser plasma removed from game. Redundant role.

- Battlecruiser Yamato now gets Plasma Torpedos with weapons refit upgrade.

UNITS (HotS)

Zerg

- Now zerglings raptor update changes to HotS model and replaces custom raptor.

- Omegalisk upgrade removed, Torrasque upgrade placed instead, changes your ultralisks to Torrasques from campaign plus old omegalisk upgrade benefits.

- New Baneling Hunter upgrade allows you to morph leap and cliff jumping banelings.

- New Nydus attacker worm and creeper added to Nydus Network build.

- Swarm Guardian removed, new Guardian placed instead.

- Swarm Host added (Creeper strain from campaign with flying locusts).

- Hydralisk frenzy ability given to hydralisks and hunter killers.

- Leviathan model changed to new one, (looks cooler).

- Sunken colony (ground defense building) added to zerg.

- Scourge Nest (anticapital one-shot defense) added to zerg.

- Mutalisks rapid regeneration given to them.

- Viper added to larva build aswell as earlier mentioned units.

Terran

Protoss

- New Tempest unit added, made heroic massive unit. Huge range and attack.

- New oracle unit warpable, modified stats. and abilities.

- New Mothership Core added, made massive and heroic, increased stats and cost.

- Nexus mothership train changed to mothership core train.

- Added Tempest increased range/attack upgrade.

- Added Oracle increased energy upgrade.

KNOWN BUGS

- Due to recent dependency change some buttons may show like "Yamato Gun (Unnamed)",

- this's got nothing to do with gameplay and will be fixed in later patch.

- There may be some actor/model issues due to dependency update, please post.

PATCH 1.11 04/03/2013

TERRAZINE REMOVED FROM MELEE MAP.

Since this is a testing map for an upcoming campaign, and terrazine proved a redundant role in game, we've decided to remove it from the game and keep it for campaign only purposes. All unit and tech costs have been restablished to vespene and minerals.

SCALE & LOOKS

- All Ground units have been rescaled (+50%) to improve gameplay and microing issues. Standard air units remain the same, all capital ships have their size reduced, they proved to big to handle in current in game views.

- Hunter Killer model replaced by HotS campaign model, to more easily distinguish between them and hydralisks.

- Battlecruiser and carrier size reduced, since this are smaller ship classes (minotaur class battlecruiser and tempest class carrier), we needed to show the difference between this and the starcraft1 models wich are bigger (behemoth class battlecruiser, old carrier). Sadly, there are no old models in this melee game, only for the campaign.

GAMEPLAY

- New Noxious strain upgrade added to Ultralisk Cavern. Allows user to choos between Torrasque and Noxios strains.

- New Devourer unit to the zerg swarm. Can mutate from mutalisk with new morph to devourer ability.

- New Hive ability called "Swarm Awareness", reveals all capital ships on the map por 30 seconds. Made to facilitate zerg handling of this units.

- All capital ships hitpoints reduced by - +2000 depending on balance, they felt to hard to beat for players without them.

- All races suppy limits reduced, players never got to use them at full capacity.

- Vespene and mineral in each of it's containers have been reduced to force a heavy mineral unit composition with some special vespene heavy units. This goes accordingly to the campaign and mod basic ideals and it's time to implement it.

- Medivac, colonist transport and troop transport "transport" ability can now only carry infantry. There's a reason why Hercules heavy transports exist.

PATCH 1.23 04/05/2013

GAMEPLAY

- All races supply limits reduced, in a melee game they never got fully used. Come as follows: Protoss 240, Terran 280 & Zerg 340.

- Each race's worker now cost only .25 supply. This effectively clears up some space for more units.

BALANCE

Terran

- Emergency thrusters ability given to medivac. Since it's now an infantry only transport it should be faster in drops.

- Battlecruiser laser batteries ignore armor.

- Reaper Healing Drugs now works normaly.

Protoss

- Nexus gets two abilities: Building shield wich grants target friendly structure an effective vs light attack. and Invulnerability shield wich makes the target units invulnerable for 20 seconds.

- Zealots gain invulnerability shield ability wich makes them invulnerable for 20 seconds.

- Oracle gets Cloak Field ability that renders friendly units cloaked in an area around the oracle.

- Sentry gets the Phase shift wich disables a structure for a short period.

- Stone Zealot's attacks now ignore armor, custom passive button added.

Zerg

- Infested terrans (infestor) spawn in packs of 4 now. It seemed not to zerguish to spawn only one compared to other zerg abilities like spore rain and also gets range increased.

- Viper gets the Eye Stalk ability wich grants detection to a target unit

PATCH 1.72 31/12/2013

GAMEPLAY

BALANCE

Terran

- Marines and Machinegun units got their attack improved, they used to have an armor reduction of 1.5 and now it's 1.0.

- New radiation cloud is created after a nuke detonates. Causes constant damage to all units in the

area but it's most effective vs biological units and structures. It vanishes after 15 seconds.

- All "tank" units got their armor improved to make them more resilient to enemy attacks.

- New Hellion ability "Engine Overdrive" gives a movement speed bonus for 10 seconds.

- Barracks Techlab upgrade Reaper Nitropacks increase even moe Reaper's speed.

Zerg

- Supply cap increased from 260 to 300.

- Roach Warren upgrade Glial Reconstitution removed, it played a redundant role to other upgrades.

- Roach Warren upgrade Organic Caparace now improves regeneration speed and increases armor of roaches.

- Roach Warren upgrade Tunneling Claws allows roaches to move while burrowed but now also increases movement speed.

- New Roach Warren upgrades Vile Roach and Corpser Roach allow to further evolve roaches with new attacks.

- New Brutalisk ability Panic which makes enemies in target area loose control and randomly run in panic.

Protoss

- Psi Storm cooldown increased from 8 to 16 seconds.

- Stone Zealots are no longer detectors.

- Corsairs fixed, adjusted and set to fit their original role in BW.

- Colossus damage reduced by 10 vs massive.

- Fixed a bug where WarpGates had only 100hp.

GENERAL

- All air mobile detectors have their search arc increased to 90 degrees.

VISUALS

- Several units got their "unit description" fixed.

- Some minor icon fixes.

- Corsairs got their size reduced.

- New radiation cloud visual after nuke detonation.

- New Roach Vile and Roach Corpser "looks" after upgrading on Roach Warren.

- New visual for Hellion ability Engine Overdrive.

- New visual for Brutalisk ability Panic.
