We even have problems defeating the AI 2 v 1. Is there a way to lower the difficulty or apply a handicap or such?

Hmmm, yeah, Thrall AI is designed to be 2v1. Also it is reccommended to add a thrall AI as your ally to play with.
If I remember right, there was a handicap selection for each player on the game lobby. You can try it. If it doesn't work, please let me know.
Also difficulty selection can be done, just the mod is already have tooo much selection box, so it needs to consider before add a new one - also it would took a little time to add a easier version of course.
Thanks for the Orc AI... but they easily kick my butt even when they have a 50% handicap (but delays them if I turtle). Please give the ai difficulty settings.

The handicap selection isn't working. We tried to put the AI on 50% handicap and his units were equally strong.

Hi, after a double-check, I found the handicap works poperly. handicap is that the max hp of all units, Normal grunt have 700 hp, and under 50% handicap, he has 350 HP. It won't affect the unit's atk though.
I tryed "Elite" AI, and they start with a shitload of trees missing, plus they don't uses rally points, all the peons remain to the hall town or the the building they have built, only one peon is extracting gold...

First the AI use rally point, they just don't just it on the workers, because harvesting make them too hard.
Second, if they have too many workers harvesing, You will never able to beat them. Don't you see all that compaint above about how hard the old one is?
Directly link the income to the worker number and unkeep instead of let them actually harvest would be a much controllable way for differentiate the AI difficulty level.
Still killing their workers would reduce their income(doesn't work on insane difficulty though).
Thrall would some interesting lines when he played as your ally.

Actually Thrall doesn't cheat other than having extra lots of money.
So I can just reduce his income.

You are telling me that this was intended so... Kappa, also because i played so few WC3 that i never finished the campaign on hard but only on normal
