Hello there fellow mapmakers. I am trying make a copy of the game "Alien swarm" with the map editor so I copied the Merc-marine and added Raynors railgun snipe on it. i reduced the damage and cooldown (now it's like 0.1 sec) so that you could be able to fire rapidly like it was a assault rifle. i also reduced the angle so that U must aim properly to hit the target (otherwise it is imba and U will hit eveything) i have created some triggers so that you only need to klick at a target to shoot there. everything works properly except for the angle of the unit when he fire his gun (railgun abillity) he just stand in front of where U klick (he is looking at the target) but he holds his gun to the side so it look like he is shooting elsewhere. and the bullet only moves in one direction and I can only see it whe I am shooting from high ground to low ground. i tried to rotate the Marine with a trigger but when i shoot he spinns around (back and forth between the triggering angle and the ability angle) do anyone now how i can make this work properly? where is the option for the bullet angle and facing angle in data editor? and can i set a specific animation when the marine fire his wep. like the one raynor does (if i find someone that fit) help would be appreciated!
