This is a Tutorial on how to attach Various models on to Wow Characters or Creatures.
Since it is not yet possible to export Weapons or Shoulders etc. with the wowmodelviewer.
The Workaround has its downsides. And is a little bit more complicated.
One Downside is: It won't import the Particles of the Model. (Maybe it does and i just don't know how.)
for Questions just pm. me
If you have a better way of doing this : Make a tutorial. Let us know.
Many Thanks go to chuanhsing, cutevisor and NiNtoxicated01. For their great work on wowmodelviewer and M3 Ex/import. Keep it up guys !!
I also wan't to appoligize for my crappy mic and voice ;) You will have to live with it ;p
Awsome thanks dude! now i havnt even looked at the videos yet but it looks like part 2 usesd 3ds max, is this the case or can this all be done with just the model view and galaxy editor?
as far as i know no one has found a way to rotate the models without problems in galaxy editor. The guys of wowmodelviewer are workin on it so you can export the models with weapons etc. allready attached. If you don't wan't to use 3dsmax then you will have to wait. But it is not complicated what i am doing in 3dsmax. And it works with trial version. So just go dl Trial and try it out.
ah i see, the problem is that i've already DLed the trial version earlier to import wow models and it ran out =( thank you though, im sure this'll still help countless more until WoWmodelviewer team gets exporter working.
Good Tutorial I was working on helping export all of the .m3 files and someone informed me about the attachment points. Now I can go in and actually work with each Axe to make it fit.
hi i read u tutorial was great but i have some problems wiile exporting multiple characters because all use same settings(body, hair) and this make the models got some mixed glitchs(all have the same armor colors and near same texture with few changes) how i can fix this?(how i can rename the body and hair models without bug the char?).
and again thanks for this good tutorial
