What I am looking for is a set of conditions that checks every unit in a region for player ownership and sets off triggers depending on what it returns. So if one person gets control of the region they gain certain malicious "benefits."
I've been toying with this for a while and I've made huge complicated strings of data that basically just crash the game trying to do what should be simple. I'm sure there is an easier way to do this. Thats why i ask mapster. Thumbs up!
Well, it depends what you mean by "control" - Do you mean, "I have 61 units here, you only have 60, so I have control of this region" or is it more like "My units are the only ones in the region"?
I'd use a variable, and in the trigger actions set the variable equal to "Number of units in unit group" and then for the unit group say "Units in region matching conditions". That's the best way to see how many units in a region are owned by a certain player. Then that variable can be used in "If-Then-Else" or "Switch" actions to do different stuff depending on whatever you want to happen.
That's all the help I can give you without knowing specifically what you're trying to do, but it should get you started down the right path. Let me know if you need any more help.
