How do you use validators to set ability levels? Can you use triggers to manage them or what?
I have no idea and I would appriciate if someone would give me somekind of explanation how to do this or give a link to somewhere where I could learn how to do this...
You need different effects for each. There is a tutorial on hero creation, that has a tutorial telling how to do multi level abilities. and, there is OneTwoSc youtube channel with a tutorial.
OFFTOPIC
I need a tutorial on how to go sleep asap. Damn, i haz problemz.
The thing is...I dont want to create a hero, but I want to be able to level up abilities :/.....Oh man I just hate the data editor...I guess Ill have to take a look at the tutorials anyway when I get the energy to do so...
levelable abilities are usually associated with heroes cause of wc3, thats why they are in those tutorial.
Just duplicate all effects of the abilities and change their values, then on the ability tab go to the effects field, and add the initial effect for each level in the correct order. you can modify costs as well by adding more cost values.
Then create a "learn" ability. Check the hero tutorials for that.

Better question is how do you make abilities have multiple levels and then scale up what the effects do...
Does this require different effects for each level and using switch effects?
