Hi so for whatever reason, I cannot get a sound to play louder than it currently is via triggers. When I listen to it in sound data, it scares the crap out of me it is so loud. But in game, it proves to not be loud enough to go past other sounds, gets easily muffled. Anyways, here is the sound data I'm using:
Yes it is 2d, and yes it has no sound roll off. I want it to sound the same no matter where someone is in the map. All the green text is what is altered, the cut off parts are all default.
Here is the trigger I'm using to try to play it:
The first part is just a variable I'm using to hold the sound, and SpeakerVolume is a variable I'm using to control the sound level of this occurring in several functions. I can use 200, I can use 3000, the sound level is the exact same... I get the feeling that I might be using triggers wrong, so posting it here in hopes that someone knows a little more about this than I do, as I am completely vexed by the situation. Hopefully I gave enough info here, but let me know if more is required :) All I want is to be able to make it louder played by a trigger.
Apparently 0 to 100 is the range you need to use for playing a sound, 200 will not make a sound twice as loud or anything. That was the entire issue, resolved, thx Bounty.
