Well after almost a week [well not a week, more like 1-2 hours a day for 7 days] trying to fix the crash I will have to conclude that it is un-fixable.
With that said I will revamp the Prologue into a micro map with a boss fight.
- Fix the bug during ending cinematic that queued unit will still be trained. - Fix the bug during ending cinematic that the heroes can still 'wander off' during cinematic. - Fix the bug that sometimes cause the game to freeze momentarily. - Minor terrain polishing.
Hi Edhriano, I've been able to give most maps a good proper playthrough this weekend. I keep finding the "training" mission quite hard, even on casual. I now understand jayborino's fear for Reavers haha. I also liked Rak'Shir particulairly well. Nice touch with the battle royale!
I would however mention a few things.
During the path to ascension mission where you must beat the two motherships, I had 2 or 3 moments of the game freezing up when I hit the 20 min mark in-game. Could that be anything trigger related? Eventually I could complete the map though, in the final cinematic however I had Elen'nara run off on me from a move command I made just before the transition to the cinematic aswell as units that kept on being trained and also moving to what the rallypoint was.
And one thing I noticed during Rak'Shir mission is that when reinforcements come, there were about 4 warp-in animations, but only one zealot got spawned.
Beyond that, I enjoying the story. I also like how everyone is getting lightlabers XD.
Ooh. And the music. I love the music, it really creates a strong atmosphere!
I'm going to make some food now and then I'm continuing... Or maybe replay rak'shir again. Really cool map that XD.

Well, I have triggers to select all units at X location and have them attack y location.
Unfortunately if there are none sometimes 'the frezee' happened.
This was reported during Automata - Perfect Soldier. I though I had fixed this. I will have look.
Ahh, that moving during cinematics, seems i might forget to add 'pause all units' and 'cancel all training'.
Well, after speaking with WingedArchon.
I will be pulling down the epilogue.
Will be making A.I adjustment, etc.
But the most important, the Volcron / Ru'waka connection and interpretation with the TimeSplitters campaign.
And possibly, adding ending [B] lind Loyalty that was scraped 2 years ago.
Current ending is [A] ffirm Resolve.

This is ending cinematic for Mission 02 : Path of Ascension.
It seems there are bugs in the triggers for ending cinematic.
I've received report that it took 10 minutes of utter darkness before the cinematic finally play.
But, I've also received report that stopping unit and research production just before the cinematic will allow the
cinematic to play without delay.
But, there are also report that killing the ascendants in particular order will fix the bug.
At any case.
I will hit the editor to try to fix the bug, alternatively I will try to separate the ending cinematic
from the mission.
For now, for those the experienced the bug, here is a video of the Ending.

Seems there is a bug with Bay Ar's custom portrait.
In one scene they work fine, in another it revert back to vanilla one.
The same custom portrait model. But on different unit.
Something broke it ?

Prologue V3 is finish, currently waiting for approval.
Tested it 4 times, the game is no longer crashing.
Took a while to revamp the story, adding a boss fight without breaking the timeline continuation with Automata and Evolution.
Anyway, hope people will enjoy.

Tried to fix the bug, delete a trigger, undo delete, repeat.
Seems the bug was caused by combination of triggers not just one.
Well give it few more try, if the crashed game still persists I might delete the makro part and change it into a boss fight instead.

Received feedbacks that there are game breaking bugs in ascension makro map[s], the micro map[s] is fine.
I downloaded the maps and tested the Prologue and it is true [haven't try other maps yet].
Which I found strange, since many player like VastanX and WingedArchon and many others already played them and they worked just fine.
The only explanation I could think of is that blizzard patch broke the custom campaign triggering game again.
I will pull down the Prologue to try to fix the bug, while continue testing other maps.
If other maps also have the game breaking bugs I will pull them down as well.

It is crazy, never thought when I begin Hammer of Dawn back at Feb 23rd, 2016 that I'd be mapping and modding for this long.
And now, it has been 3 years, what awesome years it has been.
