Hey man! I'm really enjoying that briefing. I have a couple of suggestions though.
On Aldaris I feel like his hood should move a little bit like cloth. I like how it doesn't move like it's a piece of the head but maybe if it follows the movements just slightly.
Also seeing him with Zergund's portrait portrait I realize his texture might be slightly too smooth. Maybe add a little rough effect to his skin.
The HT also looks amazing and I like the slow movement so much! The wide arms feel so right too. I made one with the skirt a while back and with more subdued arm animation and didn't realize they would look so good out like that.
Aldaris is looking great. I've been making a lot of SC1 units based on the sprites and my main test is too squint and see if it looks the same compared to the original in a blurry effect. It might be a little odd but I'm not big on getting exact as long as the general feeling is still there. I think Aldaris here fits the bill quite well.
As far as the script it sounds great! I'm in love with Zergund. That type of character is everything I loved about Protoss in SC1. They were the ultimate destroyers but their ways keep them grounded with the rest of the races. His inability to change or adapt at the beginning is a great character flaw, and it's the flaws in a character that make great storytelling. At least in my opinion it does.
That's awesome. So much detail. I used to think the scout portrait guy had nose holes. It's a little easier for me to see what's going on now lol.
I like the one on the right more. The proportions feel better. It does depend on how far from the original you want to stray. I think the left looks better for a SC2 redesign as it adds a different element.
I wish I could add some actual constructive criticism but I just can't man. This is amazing. Really good job making it look like that "mouth" without actually being a mouth.
I'm glad to see you are making good progress. I'm trying to get back into my projects and it's always a boost seeing other people working hard too.
I'm not sure if this helps as you said triggering and this is not using triggers, but this cutscene tutorial video from Blizz worked out well for me. At least for the basics.
That is awesome! Very unique design in my opinion. Are the animations custom? I don't remember a unit leaning forward that much. It looks fantastic.
On a side note I feel like this thread isn't getting as much traffic as it should. I wonder if adding "campaign" to the title might get more people to pop in. The ones that start with that tend to have a decent amount of traffic.
That looks great! My only other suggestion would be to either add another line to the big front wing or maybe move the existing line in a little bit. Compared to the rest of the unit it looks a little empty.
As far as the particles go I thought you could actually preview them. I think the animation has to be playing though if you are paused the particles will disappear. I might be off on that though.
Wow that looks really good. Are you planning on putting the cockpit on the round piece on the top middle? If so I'd still add some kind of eye(?) parts on the wings. I made one where those parts aren't actually indented but they come out. Either way I think works fine but I would add something that feels like that.
I always thought the original shuttles looked like flying smiley faces so they've never specifically looked military. That being said I think it looks like a great SC2 rendition of the shuttle. I can't wait to see the textures.

Good work man!

Looks good. I like the flame effect on the back.
That picture is of the more proportional one on the right. Right?

At any rate keep up the good work!

I personally like the larger booster but this one stil fits. As long as the effect is somewhat large it should work.

That'd look good I think. It's hard to give any sort of criticism when it's coming along so nicely.
