Read the first page. Between me, Kueken531 and BorgDragon, there are probably no better data editors.
Well, as flattering as this sounds, I doubt, this is the case. We just show off our stuff more than most others, so we are essentially the better attention whores ;)
Not to mention, that you cannot really quantify something like "Data Editor Skill". I am sure, Dryeyce can do some amazing stuff in the data editor, and so can we (and probably many others), but everyone does his stuff differently.
You can always ask your questions in the forums or drop me a pm, chances are high, I will answer those. I think, I am pretty good at explaining, as well. Also, the sc2mapster IRC channel is a nice place for a quick answer.
However, I don't have the time to personally teach you everything about the editor. Good luck in finding someone, though :)
What do the mentors get out of this? It's great and all but I've been answering questions and helping people since the beta (on top of my tutorials) and it's pretty tiring lol. Well, props to you guys if you have the motivation!
Just be careful not to start making peoples maps... it happens :O
You are right. Lets hope the list of mentors will be long :D

Or use another markup type, for example BBCode. Since in this forum, BBCode gets converted to WikiCreole anyway, you can still use all WikiCreole commands, as well as BBCode tags.
