@println: Go A few more models I tried to import but couldn't: Xelnaga_Pyramid_Temple and its variations.
I got something weird after exporting MedivacEx1.m3, I have no idea where that came from (see attached pic).
Particles in general are affected when importing/exporting models. Death animations receive extra gore because blood and flesh particles simply don't stop spawning and things like that.
@println: Go Thank you for fixing those. I haven't found other models with the same issue as Karak_Servitor, the common issue is that they simply fail to import, no error messages given, and it affects some older models.
Models I tried to import: Gateway.m3; EnergyLarva.m3; Fatty.m3; Probe.m3.
I still can't import PurifierMP.m3
Apparently it can no longer import several models from WoL or HotS.
@println: Go Hi PrintIn, with this new version I'm unable to import the oracle model (PurifierMP.m3) and some from LotV, like Purifier_Repairbay_01 and 02. I haven't tried many models yet so I can't tell if I was just unlucky or if there are more.
@println: Go Hey PrintIn, some models return an error when importing using the latest version of the plugin. The ones I tried were mothership core and sentry. I can post a screenshot of the error if you need.
@println: Go Hi, thank you for fixing Arcturus, he is crucial for the campaign I'm planning. The marine is needed for a modification, not exactly to be used in a project right now, so no hurry at all, but I'd like to work on it in the future. That's why I tried to use similar portraits, the ones with the closed visor and to head inside, and those are the ones that get bugged.
I've been having some issues when importing the different Marine portraits. Some of them get bugged, with the body armor along with the flares being moved out of position. It doesnt happen with all variations, but some like Dominion Marine 4, 6 and a few others.
EDIT: Another bug with a portrait, ArcturusPortrait loses his eyes when exported.
@println: Go Many custom model around here are "frankenstein" creations, because they use parts from several SC2 models, so a feature to merge models is definitely needed.
But there is a way to make it work right now, it isnt perfect, but it works. What I do is to save the mesh and possibly bones, stripped from everything else to Blend file, then import another M3. Then add the materials again and fix what needs to be fixed.
Hey PrintIn, HornetRepairPanel_00.m3 imports without mesh. It's a doodad model. It doesn't give any error, simply there's no mesh, only armature with animations.

Unexpected texture issues when importing and exporting Karax_servitor_probe_b.m3 also the ring thing behind the unit gets flattened.

@seraphlio: Go I have no problems with new attachment points. If you make sure you use the correct bone name it will work.
