@SiarX: Go He didn't post all the units. There are more hybrid units than constructs. The Thrasher as it is now is far more interesting than a turret, because we get to use both "modes" we see in LotV.
The Prowler could be compared to the Roach, but it could also be compared to the Dark Templar, it is more focused on harassing the enemy than the Roach, and it can only move while burrowed, making it effectively a cloaked unit until it attacks.
What do you think about changing UI and things like that? I think a hybrid-themed UI would be cool, maybe the zerg UI recolored to be purple-ish, and change button colors.
@JayborinoPlays: Go Keep in mind they are telepaths, they are able to sense emotions and intentions, and they are probably better at it than Ghosts or Protoss. But I do agree we don't need to be so obsessed about it.
@SiarX: Go Two of them together were killed by de-infested Kerrigan, the third was also killed by her, and she was still recovering. So yeah, I'd say weaker than an Ultralisk.
@yukaboy: Go Some specific structures would be nice. It makes me think about all the Moebius stuff we've seen, specially things like the use of Pylons attached to Terran tech. For a training structure I think we can start with the Science Facility in the case of Terran allies.
@SiarX: Go Not all are so powerful, the Flashpoint book describes 3 other types that were weaker. The ones in the campaigns happen to be the most successful experiments. Considering Zerg genetic diversity, hybrids could be anything.
GhostNova had a Hybrid campaign in mind and he created some models for the units. I wonder where his project stands now and if he'd be interested in this one.
@SiarX: Go We are not limited to the hybrid units from the campaigns. ;-)
@MaskedImposter: Go I think the worshipers idea again is boring. In my opinion the point is to make them different from what they were, so less aggressive in dominating other groups.
@yukaboy: Go Ok, I'll gather useful assets. I can add them to the mod whenever you want. I already have some ideas for characters, as well as a possible twist. But I'll keep them a secret too.
@Gradius12: Go True, but we have to try. I believe we can at least make 1 or 2 missions. The problem I see with many of these big projects is exactly that, they try to start big, instead of working on things little by little. If we keep the idea of making missions one by one with no pre-made directions it can work.
I never managed to finish a mission type of map in my life, so to be honest I doubt I'll do it for this project, but I spend a lot of time creating assets and polishing things, so I can help with that.
We will need to sketch a tech tree, maybe unlock units mission by mission like Blizzard does.

@JayborinoPlays: Go If you want to take the lead, its all yours in my opinion. I agree with you that it would help.
@yukaboy: Go Someone's been abusing stimpacks.

EDIT: @yukaboy: Go Do you have a mod file?
