Alrik, there should not be shading problems. I dont have them anymore. ONly problem I have are specular map tearing the texture shading now... All works fine without specular, but looks dull... I havent tested anything since then, coz I dont have time. But try to create new box model and test it ingame, but all maps.
Ok. I will try few tests tonight if I will catch a time. If I will still get errors I will send you model and spec map ok ? Then you can make and example (partial texture) so I can see the difference...
Look at that 1st picture I attached. Zoom at model on the right. Notice shadow lines are like tearing apart. They are not smooth.
One has normal map, and other has normal and specular map.
All maps work fine, except when I add specular map I get those shading problems. I used PS and CrazyBump to create specular map. Tried different type. Anyone solved this problem ? Or its caused by lack of features that exporting tool is offering us ?
This is actually working quite good. Using all stalker animations. Still some shuttering withing animations.
Also, when importing sometimes last and starting frame gets screwed. You can notice in test map when watching unit playing stand animation. It will twist for a second. Will check this further tomorrow.
BTW I noticed (probbly a bug for you NiN) when importing models, if I have anything on my scene it will screw up the skin modifier.
If I pick new scene, then import all will be fine.
Also, can anyone give me few hints about animated textures ? I dont have a clue about that.
And I tried using Stalker animations on my model, works quite fine with few additional changes.
In 3dsmax i get this error when i import a model previously exported with m3 plugin: Transforming bones... ERROR# Bone animation failed! No ""findItem"" function for undefined Set up bones bindpose Set up bones base pose
With sc2 original models it doesn't happen, only with exported one. My 3dsmax 2010 is updated to last hotfix.
He is using Windows XP, service pack 1 btw. Problem is Local, not with exporter itself, or the problem is related with windows xp not correctly supporting exporter.
Sign.
I left "modding"(mapping) community because there is almost no support from Blizzard.
Sc2 is for no Ladder(MP) and Campaign game. No custom maps. Not sure how long the game will live like this.

Oh, ok tnx. I tough that 1 is 100% xD.
I will test it tomorrow with new model and then I'll give post results.
Do you have some kind of example ? Custom Sc2 model.

I tried setting it to 35 also.
I think I gonna just make new model. Some kind of ball and test with that. When I get time. Havent done anything since then.
I'we only seen Triceron made it. But he is not responding...

What I noticed when I am exporting same models with changing material between each export. Export time was increasing.
It might be due RAM maybe, or MAX memory storage not sure...
