@handclaw102: Go As I said I created an account and made the comment. I added some of my SC2 models to the gallery and Phill is my first 'watcher'! He said its inspiring to see the love for old units and my effort to finish the Defielr model.
Gah, totally missed the edit >,<' So, congrats on that! ^^
@handclaw102: Go Good suggestion, unfortunately I need to be logged in order to comment, and maybe I had an account at some point but I can't remember :-(
@handclaw102: Go Which parts you think should be gray? Have you seen Mr
Jack's concept? The model is totally based on that great piece of art, I
dont want to stray from it too much.
Hey, so, took me a bit longer to reply on that. '
Well, my initial idea was to make all of the carapace gray/blackish similar to the roach, but I tried out how it looked like via photoshop, and to be honest, I don't think it works. So nevermind on that. '
It's the actual model name of the right one here

Of course, you could actually try to ask the creator of that model himself for advice any time. He talks quite openly with the community on deviantart about his work. You could simply show him a screenshot of your texture right here.
Either way, I like the most recent version. ^^
A little idea from my side, which at least I find interesting: You could try to incorporate the gray of the roach.
