I don't know about you but when I look at all the mods using the same models I feel that I'm playing the same game :/ Really.
So totally new models are something that also gives me feeling that what I'm playing is something different.
I agree with the time consuming factor. Nonetheless I think that creating a custom model just gives this unique feeling to your mod.
I totally agree here :) Blizzard actually gave us an engine to play around with. So basically the sky is the limit.
I'd be delighted to see mods come out that don't rely so much on the assets delivered with the game or even that don't rely on those assets at all (even on the tilesets)
After all, you can do units from scratch so why not do it?
I was just curious but you welcome :) Thanks to all of my predecessors of course!
Well, I didn't mean that by saying "to team-up". What I meant was to know what other person is doing so you won't get in each other way and won't do the same thing twice.
One, little recommendation: I think that for a pure modding purposes you could try to use println's python scripts. They are really easy to use and very handy dandy.
Were you editing the camera? Just curious if you used the m3 plugins feature ;)
And why don't you team up with the other guys? Make a list of buildings which they want to do and you want to do and do buildings which don't overlap in your lists.

Hah! Just realized how devourer is similar to mutalisk ;) Silly me, after all those years I can finally sleep! :)
Can you show the animations?
Fantastic model :)
The lightning setup in StarCraft is nothing more than http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-point_lighting Read the theory and experiment with it a bit and you can make your own lightning setups :)
But it's not only about reusing provided assets, is it? :)

Check out the new version of the M3 plugins, light and volume materials support has been added. Might find it's place in the portraits :)
It looks more like some kind of protoss renegade, an outcast but it's cool :)

You're excused lol :D
See Ghost, I told you to "team up" ;)

Well I don't think that Razernok is crossing the line here. He just threw in a statement that there are not enough fantasty models right?
