Also, we'll probably have a ModCraft on December 22nd. It'll be CHRISTMAS SPECIAL <insert cheers> - we'll try to combine elements of CL & MC into a special show to send you off into the Holidays. The overarching topic will be "Play & Learn" as well as some Christmas themed stuff (like a list of things why Christmas is awesome - Otixa & Xara style). We'll also discuss how you can increase the hours spend by players on your game, what's important to get lots of fans and how to make them having fun with it again - and again - and again. Note that those tips do not apply to girls, sorry folks!
We're still discussing the exact content and all, but it'll definitely happen. Stay tuned!
As Otixa said, he is busy right now. Don't wanna be alone on the show, because it's boring without us both raging at each other :P It'll hopefully continue soon™
Lemme do this for him: "WoW Models in SC2? ARE YOU FUCKING NUTS? THOSE ARE NOT NEXT-GEN STANDARD!" or something like that.
Regarding your request for walkable buildings... Since I've been doing a lot of TPS interior design lately, I might be able to help you out a little bit. That is, if you're using a TPS view instead of RTS (which you should, if your RPG wants at least a 1/10 of "Xara Approved" ;p) Its actually pretty quick 'n easy to do, so I guess we can cover that in another show. Next week we'll hopefully have the Sidescroller for you.
Ah... some can talk professional there. But what's the reason. People arent taking this seriously. Dunno why they should. Its a video game map editor...
But you are right partially there.
They should take it serious, because its important to make a good map. Though Otixa and I take it a little more serious, probably because we're doing this for a living sooner or later. Also, I'm swinging the Banhammer more agressive the next few days, I've had about enough of the random idiots in the chat.
Love the show, but tbh the turnout is never that hot. I think one of the problems is it starts soooo earrrlly on a saaaturrdayyyy for us NA peeps. I don't think anyone's usually awake at the time! Cept those EU weirdos, but they don't count. They never do.
Aaannyways, I'd love to see this continue on, but something has to be done to bring in more viewers and get em watching during a time when everyone's awake and paying attention!
We can't really do that. We're starting very late for our time already, if we make that even later, it'd probably be 4 am over here. Which is not in my immediate field of things I wanna do. It was bad enough spending 3 days straight after moving and a birthday to prepare the cavern. Not going to do something like that again any time soon.
We're currently trying to get a female co-host with knowledge for the show, so you guys have a more sexy voice to listen to :P

Every Saturday Otixa and I shall present you with interesting Workshops, Tutorials and Discussions centered around Maps, Mods and Tools! We will grab folks from the community, prepare stuff you're interested in and go through all the important steps you need to complete in order to create a good Map. The topics will range from the very basics to advanced things like Nextgen Models, Game Design rules and creating awesome Terrain.
We'll have a few cool things. And this time ModCraft will not be only limited to SC2, but other Games (just to get good examples)
@Mirvra: Go Good to hear!
@Fullachain: Go Not only Custom Maps, probably also a few Games (because Custom Maps are not good examples).
@mnadeau1992: Go Because who the fuck would send troops on water, when you can throw them from orbit?
I doubt we can, we're not Livestream ;P

No Content. No ModCraft today either (for the obvious reason). Trying to get you stuff for next week that doesn’t only involve models & levels ^^
Uhoh, I smell Otixa Rage in the air.

You just made the terrible mistake to ask Otixa about Blender. You will be punished.
First post has been updated. Swampmap will follow soon.
