My first tryouts for a UI. I made a video, because, well... it is moving :D
Kind of awkward, when everyone else posts screenshots, but whatever:
You can cycle the spells with Q and E or select them directly with 1,2,3.
Not sure, where to position it, though. First it was top left, but it felt out of place. Now, at the bottom, it feels like it could be easily overlooked.
Its funny, how everyone says something like that. Don't get me wrong, the UI is awesome, but it is "just" the consequent logical conclusion to dialogs and the import manager. It is exactly, what I expected to see, when I first toyed around with dialogs.
And, to be honest, I expected to see way more similar UIs, where someone imports a ton of graphics to simulate another game or just to eradicate every trace of SC2.
Still, a great job (even, if you might not believe me anymore :p)
xD, somehow the UI is very contradicting. The scroll parts do look really nice, but the futuristic SC2 buttons, ability icon borders, the wireframe etc look weird and out of place.
The circle is rotated over time, the positions of the numbers are adjusted accordingly.
The spells are nowhere near a final version, still experimenting for most of them.

Still need to play the map...
